Nursing strike due to illness

My LO is on a nursing strike due to illness (cold and ear infection). He’s 8m. I’m pumping but finding it hard to keep up and it’s only been a day. Giving him a bit of extra water to ensure he’s hydrated and he has 3 meals a day. Has anyone experienced this and any advice? I can’t give him formula as we’re doing cmpa exclusion diet atm plus I do need to pump to avoid mastitis as I’m prone to it. Just praying he’ll start feeding tomorrow

Getting jiggy with child about

My partner will try to get jiggy when our 4 year old is around. Ive told him multiple times it is a huge turn off knowing they could run in and catch us but it seems to fall of deaf ears!!!!
What others feelings on this?

Today i went to a cafe and a woman working in the cafe made a comment about my baby - said something like “shes a cheeky one, cries when i look at her”. My baby was crying so much as she looked at my baby so i was trying to console her and couldnt say anything back to her. But i said yes shes uncomfortable and she said “ill keep looking if she cries”. I was so angry that i just couldnt respond and took my baby away and later the woman disappeared.

I feel really guilty and sad about not being able to say anything back to her and not showing my anger in the moment. I also feel like i was not able to protect my baby from that woman although i took her away.

Has anyone had anything like that happen before and how did you manage comments like this?

Naps!

When did you all start dropping to 1 nap?

My daughter is nearly 15 months old, and always fights the first nap ( refusing basically to go down unless we’re out and she’s in the pram)

Her next nap is usually around 3:30-4pm lasting 1 hour 45 minutes, but I wake her up!

I’m thinking off starting to transition her to just 1 nap after lunch time for longer just to trial how she gets on.

Today she has been awake since 1:15pm and hasn’t wanted to nap at all! She’s been busy and occupied, so I’m taking her up for a bath about 6:45, then bed for 7:30-7:45.

Anxiety

Anybody else constantly monitor their baby when they’re breathing, making noises etc? Any tips on how to reduce the anxiety of it all?

Anyone found a good night nappy? She is leaking with both size 1 and 2 overnight with the Tesco ones 😞

behavior

does anyone struggle with terrible behavior from their baby boys? my oldest toddler will be 3 in july and the way he acts with me vs. dad is terrible. he doesn’t listen to me most of the time, he has the worst breakdowns and tantrums with me, etc & now his younger brothers are starting to pick up on that and being at home with them has started to become a lot the past few days 🫩 if any mamas had this problem, what did you do? how did it get better? (if it has)
