Hates nappy Change

Hi Mamas,

My baby boy is 8 weeks today and has never liked his nappy being changed. He hates clothing changes and having a bath.

He screams his little lungs out during bath time and yes bath temp is perfect. Tired bathing him with me and still does like it. We’ve even brought 3 different baby baths.

Any other babies like this, any tips, fo they get better with age?

Hiya Jade, our baby also hates getting undressed for baths. If we keep the room warm & pop a warm flannel on her chest whilst she's in the bath, she doesn't seem to cry/scream as much. Hope this is helpful. Sending you lots of love xx

My baby cried every bath time and I didn’t want her to have a negative experience and associate it with being a bad thing I made sure the temp was good and tried the warm flannel thing too and wrapping her in a towel to put her in the bath and then leaving the towel in the bath just opening it to be able to wash her nothing worked for us, so I tried showering with her and she is perfectly happy with that and likes the water onto her, she is also a clingy baby so likes being on me but I think she also enjoys the water more this way and maybe feels like a massage in a way especially on her head the way the water comes down rather than just sitting in water

We use a muslin to cover our little one’s body in the bath which we found made it a lot better 😁

Getting jiggy with child about

My partner will try to get jiggy when our 4 year old is around. Ive told him multiple times it is a huge turn off knowing they could run in and catch us but it seems to fall of deaf ears!!!!
What others feelings on this?

Comments from people about your child

Today i went to a cafe and a woman working in the cafe made a comment about my baby - said something like “shes a cheeky one, cries when i look at her”. My baby was crying so much as she looked at my baby so i was trying to console her and couldnt say anything back to her. But i said yes shes uncomfortable and she said “ill keep looking if she cries”. I was so angry that i just couldnt respond and took my baby away and later the woman disappeared.

I feel really guilty and sad about not being able to say anything back to her and not showing my anger in the moment. I also feel like i was not able to protect my baby from that woman although i took her away.

Has anyone had anything like that happen before and how did you manage comments like this?

11 week with poor core strength

Hi all. I have a delightful 11 week old who is just so easy going and lovely ♥️ he is meeting all his milestones in terms of smiling and interacting. He has stated to bat toys and is now becoming very interested in us all which is so lovely.

My concern is that I've noticed that he is still very slouched when picked up. He struggles to hold his head up ( which he does a little when sitting him up and talking to him) but not like my other children did at this stage. He also HATES tummy time. When I say hate I mean he full on face plants and becomes extremely distressed the moment he realises he is on his tummy ! I have tried putting toys around him, only trying when he is in a happy mood. He will quite happily lie on my chest elevated but doesn't make much attempt to lift his head (he just snuggles)

I'm getting worried. I attempt some form of tummy time during each wake window but it makes him so unhappy and upset 😢 which breaks my heart.

Has anyone experienced this ? Any tips or suggestions would be really helpful

Thank you x

behavior

does anyone struggle with terrible behavior from their baby boys? my oldest toddler will be 3 in july and the way he acts with me vs. dad is terrible. he doesn’t listen to me most of the time, he has the worst breakdowns and tantrums with me, etc & now his younger brothers are starting to pick up on that and being at home with them has started to become a lot the past few days 🫩 if any mamas had this problem, what did you do? how did it get better? (if it has)

Weightloss

Does anyone know if it’s safe to take mounjaro whilst breastfeeding?

Comments about my 5 week PP belly are making me more uncomfortable. Prior to pregnancy I lost 7kgs☹️
