Rolling in the night 🤦‍♀️

My 20 week old has just learnt to roll back to front and can sometimes do front to back but not confidently.

However, he spends MOST of the night practising rolling and it is constantly waking him and obviously us up!! I know once he can get himself back on his back I can just leave him but at the minute he’s just rolling and getting stuck. And I mean ALL. NIGHT.

Has anyone else’s done or doing this? How long did it last? He’s obviously just dead excited about his new skill but 🤦‍♀️ this on top of the regression is not fun.

Exact same for us! I am EXHAUSTED. Super exciting they are learning these new skills but goodness me I wish they would practice during the day 🤣😴

Mine can’t even get the whole way over yet but has decided that 3am-6am is the best time to practice…every night 🤣

Getting jiggy with child about

My partner will try to get jiggy when our 4 year old is around. Ive told him multiple times it is a huge turn off knowing they could run in and catch us but it seems to fall of deaf ears!!!!
What others feelings on this?

11 week with poor core strength

Hi all. I have a delightful 11 week old who is just so easy going and lovely ♥️ he is meeting all his milestones in terms of smiling and interacting. He has stated to bat toys and is now becoming very interested in us all which is so lovely.

My concern is that I've noticed that he is still very slouched when picked up. He struggles to hold his head up ( which he does a little when sitting him up and talking to him) but not like my other children did at this stage. He also HATES tummy time. When I say hate I mean he full on face plants and becomes extremely distressed the moment he realises he is on his tummy ! I have tried putting toys around him, only trying when he is in a happy mood. He will quite happily lie on my chest elevated but doesn't make much attempt to lift his head (he just snuggles)

I'm getting worried. I attempt some form of tummy time during each wake window but it makes him so unhappy and upset 😢 which breaks my heart.

Has anyone experienced this ? Any tips or suggestions would be really helpful

Thank you x

Weightloss

Does anyone know if it’s safe to take mounjaro whilst breastfeeding?

Comments about my 5 week PP belly are making me more uncomfortable. Prior to pregnancy I lost 7kgs☹️

behavior

does anyone struggle with terrible behavior from their baby boys? my oldest toddler will be 3 in july and the way he acts with me vs. dad is terrible. he doesn’t listen to me most of the time, he has the worst breakdowns and tantrums with me, etc & now his younger brothers are starting to pick up on that and being at home with them has started to become a lot the past few days 🫩 if any mamas had this problem, what did you do? how did it get better? (if it has)

So my baby is almost six months old and I’m a bit overwhelmed

Hi everyone! I’m a first time mum to a lovely 5.5 month old girl and I suddenly feel so unprepared for this next stage.

I did loads of prep for the newborn phase but now that we are approaching 6 months I feel a bit lost and have a few questions.

- Pram setup (UK mums) we are about to switch from bassinet to seat. Do I need a footmuff or a snuggler? I have noticed other mums have something in the seat but I am not sure what and feel a bit shy asking in person.

- Sleep setup my little girl was only 5lb at birth and is still quite small so she is still in her next to me and Moses basket. When she outgrows them what do people do if they still want baby close. Travel cot next to the bed? And do I need a playpen for downstairs?

- So she she can sit with support but not independently yet. I was thinking about getting a booster seat like Mamas and Papas is that okay at this stage or should I be using a proper highchair? Also she is not really showing interest in food yet is that okay? A lot of babies in my sensory group have already started weaning and I am wondering if I should be worried.

Thank you so much in advance and sorry for the late night overthinking 🤍

Baby monitor position help

I’ve had my monitor by the next to me crib since baby was born. I’ve only just found out they’re supposed to be placed at least 1m away. It’s been just above the end of the next to me and I’ve stupidly always left it plugged in thinking it doesn’t emit anything if the parent unit is turned off but apparently it does?? Is this likely to have caused any damage? It’s been 5 months!
I don’t even use it that much, only for an hour or so after she’s gone to bed so I can tidy up and do the dishes!! But didn’t realise it might actually be emitting electro magnetic fields all night every night for the past 5 months 😩😩
