Harvesting Colostrum
Had my first attempt at harvesting colostrum tonight (37+4 weeks). Wasn’t expecting much and managed to get 0.2ml in the syringe which I’m so proud of! No idea if that’s a good amount for a first try or not I see it as a win no matter how much. Has anyone else started collecting? I didn’t even know it was a thing when I was having my first 7 years ago!

I started trying three days ago and I've got nothing to show for it 😂 well done!
I tried the other day and got nothing 🫣😂
I tried on Wednesday night (36+2) for the first time after a long bath... got literally 0.05ml from 1 and nothing from the other, tried again last night... nothing. Giving it a miss tonight because I don't feel great and it made me really achy last night but gonna try again over the weekend.
Any amount is worth it in the long run! Well done xxx
