Hi all!
Calling in the parenting pros (and survivors 😅)
We’re on the toilet training journey with our son, who is 5 in October! 💩
Wee wees? Nailed it. Poo? 💩 Apparently a deep life choice he’s not ready to commit to just yet 😅
He’s much more comfortable requesting a 'poopy' pant, and we’re trying to gently encourage the toilet without turning it into a dramatic saga. 🫣
Any tips or tricks or miracle strategies that worked for your little ones would be hugely appreciated ❤️
Thanks in advance! 💕

My son would scream and cry because he didn’t want to poop on the toilet, it was miserable.. lol then I saw someone on a Facebook post suggest letting your kid pick out some different colored sprinkles and have them put some in the toilet before poop time to “make the poop pretty” so I tried it thinking “hmm this is so silly it might actually work” and it actually worked! He started being excited to poop! 🤣

Praise and rewards

My daughter hated doing poos in the potty! In the end I had to bribe her I said if she did it 3 times on the potty I would get her a scooter.
It worked and she is now the proud owner of a scooter

We are seeing progress with wees but poos are all in trunks for some reason . Following for tips
