i didn’t realize how much this part of her hair would need attention

has anyone else noticed dryness in the back of their baby’s hair?

this used to be the hardest area for me to manage, and i honestly didn’t think much of it at first

i started focusing more on moisture and consistency and i’m finally seeing a difference

now it’s softer, shinier, and holding moisture so much better

i’ve been documenting her progress and sharing more on instagram as i figure things out 🤍

My 2 year old's hair is very dry and lots of split ends right in the middle of the back of his head too. I think it's where it gets the most contact during sleep and in car seat :/ It's an awkward place to just trim it so I try to keep putting coconut oil on after bath. But try a silk bonnet at bed time if they will wear it!

I think we overreact when it comes to baby hair care. It doesn't require much at all and often people are using unnecessary products on their babies.

Use Shea butter , herb oil and water

My hair is type 4 and super porous, so it needs a lot of moisture. If hers is low porosity, you might want something lighter, and it really depends on her hair type.
