If you’re feeling worried it’s always best to ring them up. They’ll either tell you to come in to be checked out or advise you on what to do at home.
They never think you’re being stupid or make you feel silly for ringing. I rang twice (one for a fall and one for bleeding) and they got me straight in and monitored me and LO

I had my baby shower late in pregnancy too and it took me days to recover from the aches and pains of being on my feet all day but due to cramps plus the vomiting and nausea I’d say give triage a call and just keep them updated; they may or may not ask you to come in but you don’t lose anything by calling. Baby still moving in their normal pattern? Hope you feel better mum!

Yes, phone triage. Be worth it for peace of mind. Z

You may have overdone it. I was 36 weeks yesterday and was on my feet for hours, not really doing too much (sorting baby room out, some washing) but my lower back was hurting and I had period type cramps. I lay on my left side for 3 hours until it eased. Make sure you are hydrated - it could be that baby is leaning on your lower left side. If you are worried and it doesn't get better I'd ring triage and just mention it to them - better to be safe than sorry but it might just be you've overdone it at your baby shower and your body is telling you to rest x
