Mom Friends

If you’ve successfully made mom friends, do you SAH, work in office, or work from home?

Do you mean only friends you’ve made since becoming a mom? Many of my friends are moms, but most of them I knew before I had any kids. A good portion of my close friends are people I taught with at some point. We are also friendly with several families at our kids’ daycare, but I might not say we are fully friends just because we haven’t spent that much time together. I work outside the home.

I only started making mum friends once my daughter started school. The drop off and pick ups, the after school park trips and the birthday parties sort of force you all to socialise.

I dont really call them mom friends, I just refer to them as friends. Most of them i know from college, a few from work, and 1 from when our kids went to the same daycare. I work outside of my home. Most of them have kids.

So let start me and my husband sex life was good when first met then went down yes cuz of me he got locked up so that made me feel some type a way but then was getting better we made agreement once’s get own place we kick that back up so that mean I need step it yes I haven’t at all but he getting all mad and stuff and idk what to do main reason haven’t it just by time I get baby boy asleep I’ll tired too and yes he does a lot don’t get me wrong it’s just this time around with breastfeeding I’m really feeling the effect with being tired but he always just want say I’m not doing my part in the sexual department idk what to do

Redundancy- losing nursery place:’)

So lost. I currently wfh which means I can get the 30 free hours of childcare. I have a. 2 y/o and 8 month old. I’ve just found out I’m most likely being made redundant and I’ve been applying to other remote roles with no luck, and can’t do an in person role because the 8 month old doesn’t have a space till September. Now I’m going to have to pull my 2 y/o out of nursery and I’ll have to cancel both their spaces as there’s a very low chance I’ll be able to get & start a new job in September exactly & won’t have anyone to watch them when I get one till I qualify again as both parents have to earn £800+ a month. It’s a catch 22 situation. I’m so stuck, hurt and lost. Been in the company for 4 years and now my dreams of them both going to nursery, having a good job & going to uni are shattered till my youngest is 5 and i have no idea what to do

Fiance got into an accident and his ex showed up at the hospital and made a scene

So my fiance was taken to a different hospital after a hit and run tonight, and he hasn’t been here in several years so his emergency contact info was still his ex, who is absolutely crazy. She showed up, and she lives closer so she got here first and was let back. When I got here, they tried to get her out and she flipped out. She had to be escorted out and was smashing shit, calling him a pussy and saying he has no balls, and screaming that I’m a cry baby bitch (I wasn’t even crying).

I’m honestly just worried, and didn’t have the energy for her, so I told her I understand she’s worried and if she could be civil, she could stay. She told me to go home and said he belongs to her and always will and I’m just an obstacle in their path to forever.

She was making threats down the hall to call my job and get me fired. Saying I use my child to manipulate my boyfriend into loving me. And he repeatedly kept telling her that their relationship is not what is important right now. So she ended up being forced to leave, and now she’s sitting outside our house while I’m still in the trauma unit waiting to hear more.

My fiance is literally in trauma from a hit and run, and she’s worried about who he loves more. Her or his current fiance.
