When did your child stop using their push chair?

I'm expecting my second when my first will be around 16 months and I'd like to know how long to rent a double stroller for

I have an 8 week old and a 2 year 4 month old, the eldest still uses the pushchair very occasionally. We got one which can be a single or a double so that when we go on long journeys we have the option to have the eldest in the pushchair otherwise he constantly asks to be carried! But the majority of the time we just have it as a single for the baby

Depends what we are doing. If we are doing a full day activity my 3.5 year old still wants to nap so I have to bring a pram so he can but he will spend most of the day walking and has done since since somewhere between 18 months and 2 years...

We still use ours if we go anywhere and she's 18 months. She didn't walk until 16 months and she's not quite there for walking distances. We'd never get anywhere. Tbh I think we'll be using it a lot until she's at least 2.

Our 2yr 8mth old still goes in the pram regularly

My 2 year old still uses the pushchair. He'll walk for so long then wants/needs a nap so the pushchair for us is a must

My son is turning three next months and we still use our travel buggy regularly, he walks long distances but he likes to rest (and I like to bribe with a snack when I get impatient 🫣😂).

Personally I love the option of having the double stroller, I bought a single to double tandem so have the option of both. My daughter is 2 (26 months) and I have a 5 month old. Sometimes she hates the pram but having it when she’s tired is a godsend or a day where she’s having ‘terrible 2s’ and refusing to listen/behave when we are out it’s much easier than having to deal with her refusing to walk/run away or just in general throw herself on the floor 😂

Why does no one use reins for toddlers anymore?

They seem so safe and practical but I never see anyone using them. I’m thinking of getting some for my toddler who is always running around but I worry I’ll be judged?!

Is your child the priority?

I saw a post where the mother complained how people don’t understand how hard it is to go outside and have a meal with others etc because her toddler has a routine. She would have to pack food, toys, nappies etc and try to figure out nap time whilst outside so staying home is much easier. We all know what it’s like when your child misses their nap and then nighttime becomes a nightmare. Everything is out of routine. It affects the toddler. I’m assuming that mums who are always out and about all day long, have a toddler who goes with the flow and nap anywhere, eats anything and isn’t overstimulated? Personally mine seems to have a hard time in new places and new faces and enjoys her routine and comfort at home. For me, she is the priority but other mothers are saying that it’s wrong and the child should work around them, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to do anything. In my head, I’ve just accepted that until she goes to school, I’m going to be in mummy mode 24/7 for the next few years. I don’t see myself enjoying being outside if my girl is upset and tired. How do you do it?

Baby carrier

Can anyone recommend a good baby carrier suitable for 5 weeks+ to last as long as possible? I’ve currently got a fabric wrap but find it a hassle to put on!

Coming to a realization

At the age of 33, I realize I may never truly get my happy ending or experience the love I deserve in this life. To summarize… my childhood was a mess, I have no real relationship with my family, no friends to call and laugh/vent with, my spouse is emotionally unavailable most days and is starting to feel more like a “cousin” than a relationship since he is my Childs father. My life is the endless routine of waking up, working from home, doing schoolwork and going to bed. My 4 year old is the best thing that has ever happened to me and is the only highlight in each day. He makes mommy feel seen, loved, and appreciated. I think I will find my happiness in making him happy.

Is co-sleeping safe?

My baby won’t sleep in the crib at night. Within the first 5 minutes of being put down she will cry and i can’t do the sleep deprivation anymore.. as soon as she is in the bed next to me she settles! 😭is it safe for her to be in the bed with me? i’ve heard of safe sleep 7 and i know co sleeping is normalised in certain areas of the world so surely it can’t be that dangerous? idk help pls

8 week injections

Hiya! My little one had her injections today and she’s slept most of the day since 🥲 when she wakes for feeds, she’s only taking like an ounce at a time then falling back to sleep! Has anyone else’s baby done this too? I was told she may feed less but worried she’s not having enough as she usually has 4oz every 3 hours x
