What week did you go into labor?

I’m having a c-section at 39+1, and I’m terrified labor will start before then. Currently at 37+3. I know some people deliver earlier or later than the included options. Feel free to share!

Went into labour naturally at 40+4

41 weeks for me.

Induced at 41+4 after doing everything humanly possible at home to kick start labor + 2 sweeps.
If you go into labor early, they will just do your c section that day- technically it's class as an "emergency" because the OR isn't scheduled ahead of time but there's no difference to the procedure or even the speed.

42 weeks for me

First section was booked for 39+3, went into labour 38+2 and had a section that night instead.

Second section booked for week 38 to avoid repeating, rescheduled to week 37 due to my own medical issue that was a risk to baby. Lost my mucus plug that morning anyway 37+1.

There was no way I was ever making 39/40 with my kids 🤣

36+4. Don’t spend the day with an electric hedge trimmer 🤦🏼‍♀️

36 weeks! So there was no hope for me even if I’d planned a section 😂

I had an induced emergency c section at 35 weeks exactly. My little one was ok.

41 weeks!

37+1 then 37+6 both natural labours. my first was almost induced but I went into labour first and found out at that appointment that it was labour 😅

My labour with my second started at 38 weeks in a few days don’t remember for sure. But I was in labour for like three or four days before I delivered at exactly 39 weeks. My first was induced at 39 weeks exactly and she could’ve sat snug for a little while lol

41+5 for first and 40+3 for the second one

Finally had him without induction at 42+2

C section

Since having a C-section, has anyone else felt like this?

After I eat, I sometimes feel really weak and heavy, like my body just slows down and even my posture feels off. I’m about 4 months postpartum and it’s still happening.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows what it could be? 🤍

Just left hospital…

Omg just had an elective section when does the pain stop?
I’m day 1 today & although I’m moving around I’m only having paracetamol and ibuprofen which I can’t see helping! I’m so sore.
I’m gonna need to do stairs too. Also I’ve got a pico dressing any advice on making the most of that too x

Induction/epidural

For those that went through an induction did you have an epidural?

Context
With my first i didnt have an epidural until after his birth as i had a 3rd dagree tear, his birth was completely unmedicated because it was so fast.
Well anyway multiple people tried for 4 hrs to get the epidural in and failed it was so painful and my back was bruised badly for weeks, in the end they gave me a spinal.

I basically want to know if i can get through an induction (that i know tends to be more painful) without an epidural and just with other pain options or if i just opt into a cesarean

I have 12 days to decide and im stressed 😫
