Night feeding questions

My LO is 6 months and still wakes every 2/3 hours sometimes every hour at night. She wants the boob but I’m not sure she’s actually hungry and she just wants comfort. If I cuddle and pick her up she settles but I cannot transfer her back to the cot. Anyways I’m a hella tired mama seriously unsure of what to do.

My LO is going through this, we’ve co slept so we just cuddle, pat her back and she goes back to sleep. She still requires at least 2 bottles during the night but she only drinks like 70-90ML compared to her 150ML. Co sleeping is the only way any of us get any sleep, otherwise we really struggled and were so sleep deprived and exhausted.

Someone who’d raised 6 kids recommended feeding an extra ounce of milk and it helps keep them full and settled for longer. Maybe try feeding a little extra? Our LO is very specific, she throws up if we feed extra.

I normally breastfeed but at night I’ve been pumping a bottle full so I can guarantee that she’s had enough to eat, then after she’s eaten and been changed and burped I swaddle her and rock her- a pacifier also helps while rocking her so she still thinks she has boob in her mouth. It’s tough tho I’m still struggling with nights but she’s slowly transitioning into days

My 15 month old still feeds 2/3x a night for comfort, its normal

It’s normal I’m afraid, my little one was the same until he was weaned off the breast. He’d be feeding every 2 hours constantly! We introduced a bottle and my husband helped, game changer in his sleep and wakes x

Yeah sadly wouldn’t recommend any of those options! Night weaning isn’t recommended until more like a year or they do it naturally. The cutting day naps (or revisiting schedule) might assist with if she’s waking every hour but the three hour stretch sounds normal. You could try a dummy or comforter? X

Is co-sleeping safe?

My baby won’t sleep in the crib at night. Within the first 5 minutes of being put down she will cry and i can’t do the sleep deprivation anymore.. as soon as she is in the bed next to me she settles! 😭is it safe for her to be in the bed with me? i’ve heard of safe sleep 7 and i know co sleeping is normalised in certain areas of the world so surely it can’t be that dangerous? idk help pls

8 week injections

Hiya! My little one had her injections today and she’s slept most of the day since 🥲 when she wakes for feeds, she’s only taking like an ounce at a time then falling back to sleep! Has anyone else’s baby done this too? I was told she may feed less but worried she’s not having enough as she usually has 4oz every 3 hours x

Sleeping

Is it normal for my 8 month old to have 3 naps a day? He wakes once in the night for a bottle but apart from that sleeps at night usually from 6:30/7pm-6/7am ish. And his wake windows are usually 2-3 hours

I don’t know when to drop a nap and his naps usually only last 30 mins

6 week regression?

Did anyone else's baby reach 6 weeks and then just stop going to sleep at night and stop going down during the day?

Been over an hour of trying to get him to sleep after excessive crying and he's just wide awake

6 weeks old baby smiling

I swear I’m not crazy, my baby is smiling and it’s not because he’s got gas or it’s a reflex. Anyone else? Also, how cute is the cooing?
