Very active baby

Hey all, I’m 39 weeks today and last night she was sooo active, moving so much and kicking and punching, it kept me awake from 10-1am. I know they say to only worry about reduced movement but should I be concerned or has anyone else had this so close to due date? She’s moving normally again this morning so far..

I’ll be 39 weeks at the beginning of next week and I’ve had this the past few days. He’s been so so active. I think I had this with my first. I think he moved quite a lot a few days before I went into labour.

Alcohol after c section

When did you lot start drinking alcohol again after c section? I’m 5 weeks pp from my c section and have an event tomorrow that involves alcohol, just wondering if it’s okay to drink bit or would it be wiser to wait a little longer. Would ask my midwife but I’ve been discharged so I can no longer get in contact with her.

Night terrors and sleep paralysis

I’m starting to have really bad night terrors and I think sleep paralysis, I sleep with the baby in my room but I’m still having vivid dreams of the baby and in all of them it’s someone taking him or taunting me using him against me I guess, and I can’t speak in my dreams even though I try to and I’m just stuck there watching it, then before anything happens even though in my mind I know what was going to happen, I wake up really fast sweating and crying. But I constantly feel like what was in my dream is actually here watching me and sometimes it’s like I know something is there. I don’t know if it’s daft but I’m scared to leave the baby alone in a room when he’s asleep because I’m scared the thing will take him or something..

Stretching / pulling pain on sides

Has anyone experienced this… I’m getting this weird stretching/pulling pain on both sides of my stomach (right and left, kind of alternating). It’s not cramping, more like something pulling/tearing feeling, and it hurts when I stand up or start walking. Then it eases off and comes back again later.

Is this just normal stretching/ligament pain or something else? 😅 Just want to see if anyone else has had the same!

Braxton hicks

I’ve been into triage this afternoon with reduced movements, I’ve only just got home because on the CTG it was showing I was having regular contractions. I couldn’t really feel them but they wanted to monitor me. Has anyone else had this where they just couldn’t feel the contractions/braxton hicks?
