CRACKED THE MORNING SICKNESS!!!!

I have cracked it girls! I have found having a few sips of Diet Coke throughout the day here and there really helps manage my sickness and nausea feeling. Honestly if your really struggling like I have please try it! It has been my life saver throughout the first trimester!

Alcohol after c section

When did you lot start drinking alcohol again after c section? I’m 5 weeks pp from my c section and have an event tomorrow that involves alcohol, just wondering if it’s okay to drink bit or would it be wiser to wait a little longer. Would ask my midwife but I’ve been discharged so I can no longer get in contact with her.

Night terrors and sleep paralysis

I’m starting to have really bad night terrors and I think sleep paralysis, I sleep with the baby in my room but I’m still having vivid dreams of the baby and in all of them it’s someone taking him or taunting me using him against me I guess, and I can’t speak in my dreams even though I try to and I’m just stuck there watching it, then before anything happens even though in my mind I know what was going to happen, I wake up really fast sweating and crying. But I constantly feel like what was in my dream is actually here watching me and sometimes it’s like I know something is there. I don’t know if it’s daft but I’m scared to leave the baby alone in a room when he’s asleep because I’m scared the thing will take him or something..

How would you prepare for a c-section next time?

I had an emergency c-section with my first child and I think I’ll likely have another c-section with my next child. I think my risk factors are that I had a big baby and I had 5 days of induction that never resulted in labour, and I have a high BMI.

I found recovery quite hard and I still have a lot of numbness (10 months later).

Is there anything that anyone who’s had a c-section/s would recommend to prepare for an easy c-section and recovery?

Stretching / pulling pain on sides

Has anyone experienced this… I’m getting this weird stretching/pulling pain on both sides of my stomach (right and left, kind of alternating). It’s not cramping, more like something pulling/tearing feeling, and it hurts when I stand up or start walking. Then it eases off and comes back again later.

Is this just normal stretching/ligament pain or something else? 😅 Just want to see if anyone else has had the same!
