I’m 31 weeks FTM, is it normal to be so out of breath when talking and doing everyday stuff? Don’t want to call maternity if it’s not something to stress about.
Thank you x

yes! likely means baby hasnt dropped yet, but they will and it’ll feel easier to breathe when their not so high up! nearly there mama x

My midwife told me mine was down to low iron levels so I’ve been given iron tablets - but if you’re concerned please call for advice x

Definitely, several times at work recently
I’ve had to pause mid presenting on a teams call as I felt like I was mid-marathon!

Yeah, being out of breath was basically my first sign of pregnancy when I was only 6 weeks pregnant, and it didn't got better throughout the pregnancy 😅 Prior to pregnancy I was active (running, gym, lots of walking) so that's why it came as a massive surprise, but I also had low iron levels and even when they are slightly lower, I feel it immediately.

Yes sometimes any other symptoms, have you checked your Blood Pressure Levels, I was high risk so I was told to go regardless , where my sister was not and she still went when she was alarmed by something, but each momma and baby / pregnancy is different!

Yessss i was so puffed all the time at that stage

I’m 29 weeks second baby and feel the same, breathless, exhausted, heart pounding, just make sure they double check iron levels
