Hello Ladies, has anyone on here been to one of these appointments before ? I just wonder what it is about, i tried to google it but seems like a midwife app? Just a fancier name 😉

You usually have these when baby's to small/to big etc. They will discuss your and baby's condition. Maybe offer induction.is the appointment after scan?

Normally an appointment with a consultant, I had one because my baby was measuring small.

Yes I've had them, had them after each growth scan because I'm consultant led.

I have one on Monday as my baby is measuring small

I Got this appoiment in very early pregnancy, due to my old age im 40 - But thinking it could be about the induction then, that they really want me to have though i have not had any complications of any sort and baby is weighing roughly 500grams ahead.

I had one of these booked for me seemingly by mistake. There were no risk factors, it was just a routine checkup but they had me on the wrong system so it ended up booked with a consultant. I don't think it necessarily means risk factor. They can be booked out of routine

Tired.

Mamas… what do you do when you’re tired? Tired of cooking, cleaning, taking care of kids, laundry, dishes, DINNER, taking care of a household shoot taking care of yourself.
I’m a ftm also sahm. I’m tired I want to run away. I feel like I have the whole world on my shoulders, the only true time I have to myself is at night then I’ll have to juggle going to bed at a decent time or stay up and regret it in the morning. I don’t like this feeling, HELP

C-Section / More Kids?

I was told after your first time getting a c-section, all your future kids would be born that way, is it true moms? Furthermore, I thought I was going to die after that surgery and post partum , to have to go through that again even more than 2 times is scary. I wouldn’t wish this surgery on anyone! Am I alone with this thought?

Body issue two years pp

Hiiii.

I have an embarrassing issue that I didn’t have before pregnancy and wondering if anyone else has experienced it. I’m almost 2 years post partum at this point. Pooping is miserable and it’s so hard to do now. I never had this issue before.
I had a really hard labor and didn’t have a BM for about a week after I had my son. My dr said it was normal but I just can’t believe it’s still like this.
Also I have such bad back pain now that I thought would go away. But it’s really just stayed the same. I did have to get an epidural twice.
Does anyone still have pregnancy/ postpartum issues? I’m to embrassed to ask anyone in my real life

Circumcision 10 months old

Hey,
Today was my child's circumcision appointment, but I stepped away and said no. I didn't dare. How was I going to have the guts to do it? I was at the clinic, and I melted and started crying so badly that I couldn't. Now, have I made the right decision? I wasn't ready

What was your experiences in getting it done in older kids?

Thanks

NHS 12 week scan?

I’m coming up to 10 weeks and have my first booking appointment next week when I’ll be nearly 11 weeks- I’ve not heard anything about my 12 week scan? I had a private scan yesterday (photo) and the sonographer said my NHS scan should have been booked by now otherwise it will be too late to do any health screening?! Now I’m in a panic lol- has anyone else had their scan later than 12weeks as at this rate I think I’ll be having it between 13-15 weeks?
