Mounjoro

Has anyone started mounjoro after having a baby? I’m nearly 3 months post c-section and just ordered my first lot. Excited to start after all the weight I’ve put on during pregnancy but worried about side effects and how they will affect my daily life while having a baby to look after.

I went on mounjaro 3 months postpartum, lost about 3 stone in 3 months but the side effects were horrific. Sickness, nausea, feeling extremely weak and dizzy. I also lost quite a lot of hair. I come off it after 3 months as I couldn’t deal with the side effects anymore & didn’t feel I was being my best self for my little one. I also have friends on it who have absolutely no side effects, so everyone is so different!

I was on it pre pregnancy as my BMI was too high for NHS fertility testing and it changed my life- fell pregnant 3 months after stopping it. It is phenomenal I cannot recommend it enough xx

I went back on Mounjaro 4 weeks after giving birth.

I had a lot more nausea compared to before I was pregnant but after a week it passed and I had no more side effects. Have been on it for 4 months and lost about 4 stone. Goo up the doses each month. Xx

I have heard that Retatrutide is better to have, it’s got more benefits than just weight loss apparently I haven’t tried it myself but family members have x

Comment your due date and actual birth date

I'm about 30 weeks pregnant and trying to prepare for the fact that my hubby might not be there for the birth of our first baby.
I'd love to hear when your due date was vs the date you actually gave birth. Did bub come earlier, on time or a little later?

FTM and i’m so anxious about the glucose test

Could really use some support or reassurance from people. i’m a very anxious person and i’ve been experiencing high anxiety for a lot of my pregnancy.
what was the glucose test like for you? do you have any suggestion that might make it easier for me?
i’m scared it will make me puke (haven’t puked at all through my whole pregnancy, some first trimester nausea but nothing since 14 weeks)
please be kind and don’t tell me worst case scenarios because that will make me spiral. i’m already aware of the worst possible outcomes anyways (thanks anxiety)
