Struggling with mom guilt

Sorry for the long paragraph.. My 7 month baby is not sitting unaided or has any interest in rolling. Totally hates tummy time. She is delayed in these motor milestones and I don’t know if its because I have done something wrong. She is exclusively breastfed, and hardly showing any interest in solids. I feel like a terrible mom when I see other babies doing a lot more than mine, I know I should not be comparing but its just giving me mom guilt and a feeling that I may have done something wrong. Don’t know what to do.

Ask your health advisor for advice or seek a doctor's advice.
Thats the best thing to do at the moment. You havent failed as you are reaching out and trying to help in any way you can.

Your baby might just be late on milestones. But definitely ask for professional opinion! Xx

Changing/bathing in front of the child

Hello mammas,

I need your advice. I have a boy and he is 1 year and 2 months old. My husband works 12 hours a day and I have no family or friends nearby, since we moved when my boy was 1 month old. Due to this, I am taking showers or changing in front of him. I cannot do this while he is sleeping, as in the second i leave the bed, he wakes up instantly.

Untill what age can I still do this in front of him, without damage? I would hate to have mommy issues or God knows what because I want taking showers with him

Anyone else get annoyed?

When your baby is unsettled and hysterical crying and everyone tries to take over in settling him, then be hero like when he does. Makes me feel like a failure

How do I get a velcro/high needs baby drowsy but awake at bedtime?

I normally rock my 11 week old or put him on my chest to get him into a deep sleep and then place him in the crib. But I now want to teach him to self soothe.

Engorgement

5 days postpartum and my milk came in. I’m extremely engorged and painful. What has helped for you guys to reduce pain? I think I’m giving up breastfeeding, I can’t live like this.

How would you feel if your LDBF fell asleep during phone “stuff” ?

Literally right in the middle of it, things are heated, I’m being a little extra 🌶️ and loud.. all of a sudden dude just goes dead quiet and then so do I. Like what’s going on? After a few minutes I hear soft snoring. He does work 3rd shift so I do consider that, but this was in the evening after he’d been already sleeping for a while but in the moment I was pissed and my feelings were so hurt lol
