I am going to Spain in June with my (will be) 12mo and 4yo. I haven’t been abroad in ages and never with the babies so I’m looking for some useful tips and tricks people have picked up that will make life a little easier.
We are in a hotel room at an all inclusive family friendly hotel. The 12mo is still really reliant on formula and doesn’t sleep well on the go.
Any tips are greatly appreciated

I’m going away in a couple of weeks and I’ll be doing a click and collect order from boots to pick up at the airport. For things such as sun cream shampoos etc. purely based on the fact of they are weighty items so won’t take up weight in the case.

We’re also going away with our 9 month old next month, & these are some tips people sent me:
- Click and collect toiletries/nappies to the airport if you don’t have the luggage space
- Don’t all board the plane at the beginning when they call for families (it’s an extra half an hour on the plane for the kids when they don’t need to be). If you’re travelling with someone, one of you can stay with the kids airport side whilst the other goes on with the luggage etc.
- Snacks snacks & more snacks for the flights
- New toys to keep them stimulated on the plane
- You can email the hotel beforehand to ask for extra bottled water in the room for formula, most hotels will have a kettle.
- Pool floats
- Snooze shade is handy for napping in the pram
- Take washing up liquid, sponge & Milton tablets for washing & sterilising bottles in the hotel (you may not be sterilising anymore though)
Hope something helps☺️ Enjoy!!
