Hello, just looking for some advice! My little one is 15 weeks today, he tends to have x5 feeds in a 24 hour period, consisting of 6oz. His last feed is usually 11.30pm and he sleeps through until around 7.30am, in which we feed him. However, the past few days, he hasn’t had much interest in his morning bottle, and it’s a bit of a task to even get him to drink 4oz. I was wondering if it could be worth upping his day feeds slightly, to get rid of the 11.30pm feed, meaning his last one would be around 8pm, and he is still getting his daily cal intake?
Hope this makes sense 🤣
Any advice would be fab! X

If ur baby is having enough wet and dirty nappies then ur good. Honestly dont worry about him not having "the right amount" for his age. One day my son will have 7 oz 5 or 6 times a day but then somedays he will struggle to even have 4 .
I mean my son is on the bigger side and was born on his due date so i dont worry aslong as he is having wet nappies and he is gaining weight

Hes 12 weeks btw

My 16 week old is pretty similar, 5 x 7oz bottles, the last one usually 10/11pm, she wakes up around 7:30 but is usually just very smiley, wants you to talk to her and drinks quite slowly, I’ve started just letting her wake up a bit and feed her at 8am and find that’s better for her xxx

I've always gone off how much milk in total they should be having in a day. As mines 12wks but some days she will have less than others but she's happy and dirty nappies. She rarely shows hunger cues so I just go off when she last fed and would only be 3oz lucky to get 4oz but if I don't give that 10pm feed she will wake up at 4am wanting a feed
I personally wouldn't change it if its working for you. If you're worried you could Google it on how much you need to have in a day for the weight of your baby as for myself its between 580ml/730ml a day (20oz/25oz)
