I literally googled this today!! My boy gets soooo miserable after like 75 minutes!

Yep! He will only have 45 minutes at a time and then want to go to bed from 6.30 onwards for his night time sleep! Which is way too early, so we try and keep him up. I know it's not good, but if we didn't keep him awake, he would be up from 3am ready for the day! I have tried everything to keep him sleeping longer but nothing seems to be working 😅

My 4 month old seems to do the same routine every day and has been since 5 weeks old.
7am bottle, 9am nap till 10am.
10am bottle, 12pm nap till 1pm
1pm bottle, nap at 3 till 4pm
4pm bottle and she will stay awake till half 8 then sleep for 45 mins.
Last bottle at 10pm and sleep round till 7am.

My baby is the same. Can only stay awake for 75mins! Sometimes she yawns straight after she wakes up 😂

Overfeeding newborn?!

Today I found out from my GP that feed on demand relates to breastfeeding. I’ve in fact been overfeeding my precious newborn and I feel both embarrassed and guilty.

I’m neurodiverse so I took that phrase literally and although I shouldn’t I feel so bad. She’s been in pain and her stomach was large!! My husband was like that’s normal and I’m so happy I finally listened to myself to get it checked after being gaslit so many times.

Anyway, this is to say follow your instincts and ignore formula pack feeding guidance 😅

Car seat

What car seats did you move onto once your little one outgrew their first car seat? Any you’d recommended (or avoid)

Need to vent about my family im so upset

I was at my mums house with my sisters. I suddenly became very ill, they called an ambulance but no one wanted to keep my baby while I went hospital. In the end I had to tell the ambulance people I wouldn’t go with them as I have no one to watch my baby. They wer disgusted I could tell. They could hear my family saying no I can’t keep the baby I don’t want too. These are the same people who never visited me when my baby was born. I just feel so alone. In the end her dad watched her. I want to have another baby but I know no one will help keep my older baby. I just feel so shit :(

Naps times

11 month old refusing all naps, would you let them cry it out in their crib or allow them to stay awake or even try rocking them to sleep?

Sleep training

No hate please, I know this is a controversial topic.

Has anyone looked into sleep training now our little ones are approaching 5 months old? My daughter is still waking multiple times in the night and needs her dummy, rocking or feeding to get back to sleep. She is also very hard to get to sleep at bedtime. I am not set on eliminating night feeds altogether as I know these are normal, but I would like to be able to get some sleep in the near future and also do my eldest daughter’s bedtime, which is impossible at the moment.

Considering some form of sleep training but don’t really know where to start. Is anyone else looking into this or have any advice?
