Is this an awful thing to say?

I’m going through post partum anxiety and my partner hasn’t been great at all. I have been crying to him about supporting me more and he said “I can’t deal with this I better end things with you now as you’ll be even worse when you hit menopause” he said this in a serious tone. I’m 27 and I asked him why would he say that and he said he has to think of his future too

That’s an absolutely disgusting thing to say to a woman, even more so your PP partner who just went through childbirth and is voicing her need for support. Like wtf.

I don't even know what he's talking about. What a child

What an absolute prick.
Make sure you get the support you need to get you through. You will get through it ! But I hope you really look at this and think "I better end things with you now because you'll be even worse when I hit menopause".

This is no partnership.

My mom got divorced when she realised her husband would never honour his vows and look after her as she got chronically ill.

You better end things with him now, as he’ll be even worse when he’s required to be an active parent. You have a future to think of after all.
