I just found im deficient in iron and from taking prescribed tablets, my life feels actually changed! I was intensely drained, having to rest when my toddler napped, passing out at 8pm waking at 5am (from going to bed too early!) but honestly im up til 9:30/10 now and not needing day rests- feeling soo much more myself and happier! I wanted to share bcos i feel this is a VERY common issue that us women are not automatically advised about- if this sounds like you, get a blood test/ take some iron, (also vit D was low for me!) i hope this helps someone x

My sleep ended up so much better too after taking liquid iron for a month. Not prescribed, just from the pharmacy but I was feeling so tired prior to that. I read up and saw iron deficiency causes insomnia as well
