My lil one is 6 weeks old and I exclusively breastfeed him - at times I express and give him the bottle as I have a 2 year old as well so it can get intense(!)
He tends to snack throughout the day & night and I really struggle to get him to breastfeed for long in one time. I’d really love to start having a routine and longer stretches at night (as he can wake up every hour or so) - what’s the best way to manage this? Would you recommend expressing mostly so he drinks from the bottle and I also know how much he’s taken? Thank you xx

I have a 7 week old and a 3 year old so I feel you when you say can be intense. However we have managed to get only 1 or 2 wake ups during the night. He feeds during the day and cluster feeds before bed. I make sure he has as much milk as he wants during the day so he sleeps well at night. Also during the night I always offer the dummy before going straight to boob because sometimes he just wants settling back down than feeding. Baby is probably associating waking with feeding xx
