I fell on my way to the GP! They examined me but emergency refused to see me and check on the baby because I am not bleeding. They wanted to Xray my leg which i refused as i feel it is minor. I am 17 weeks so not feeling movements yet and freaking out. I booked a private scan for Saturday but I am so worried something may happen to my baby.

I can imagine how stressed you are and I am sorry they were not helpful at the emergency. Generally a fall shouldn’t cause any harm the baby is well protected, unless it was a fall from high stairs or something that can cause a very big hit on your belly. Did you hit your belly at all? how did you fall?

Most hospitals have an early pregnancy assessment unit. I called my gp to ask for the number, if you call they should see you x

I fell pretty hard at 35 weeks. My knees were swollen for 6 months afterwards. I called maternity and they said unless i hit my actual stomach, the baby will be fine. And she was.
The baby is very protected. It would take a lot of force directly to the lower abdo. If you call EPU, they may do a scan to alleviate anxiety but there's likely no medical reason for the baby.

My sister fell at 16 weeks during a storm. She hit the ground pretty hard. She was absolutley fine, sore and bruised ofc but not anything major. Her LO is now 4 years old and starting school this time.
I'm sorry they wouldn't see you in the emergency. Hope my comment provides a bit of reassurance. Wishing you & baby all the best for the future xx
