Husband's high school ex who is also pregnant crossed a boundary line to me.. What do you all think? This is bothering me... 😣😣😣😣😣 Could I be overreacting?

Is it weird or wrong of me to feel any way if my husband told me his ex from high school who now lives overseas and is pregnant.. that they have been texting on Facebook and she asked him if he does perineal massage??..

He then asked me what that was. I explained what it was and told him that's intimate stuff.. why would she wanna know that?

He seemed shock to find out what it was , and when I told him he said she sent him a weird emoji after asking that, which got him wondering why use that emoji...and now he knows why she sent that emoji.

I found it weird he didn't tell me what that emoji was, and I didn't ask.

I, for one, was gonna mention the massage to him later down to try.. I wasn't ready yet so the fact she brought it up to him asking if he did it before I could get a chance to discuss it with him does not sit well with me.

I was a bit appalled that she felt comfortable enough to ask him if he gave me perineal massages... Like... Excuse me? BOUNDARIES. That's between me and my husband.. I found that so off.

I don't know how long they have been texting.. he would mention them texting on rare occasions given that she's pregnant and I'm pregnant.. he would tell me she said she doesn't feel any pain.. she'd ask what gender we having and when I'm due and he'll tell me the gender she is having and when she is due. Other occasion he would mention that she messaged him and told him that she saw his uncle at church.

He brought up the whole thing voluntarily tho as always.. it came up cause I asked him for a massage and he was massaging me and we were talking about preparing for birth.

I don't know if he thinks it's a normal thing for her to ask.. my husband doesn't talk nor express much. Can never tell what's on his mind even when asked outrightly.. but I always had an issue about him putting boundaries with females..

He's more to ignore certain comments or think it's harmless instead of putting his foot down and letting them know it's inappropriate or he doesn't like that or that's between him and his wife.. you know?

Yay! A group made for me!

I thought I was the only one without a bestie! It’s weird when you leave anything that’s a formal setting like school or work and move house or country far from everything and everyone you knew growing up.

Starting to look for new friendships feels so weird to do at this stage of life, but sometimes you just want to find a girlie who gets it!

So here goes nothing! I’ve just Turned 30, married with 1 little girl and I need friends!
I like to go to tea, music, horses, cars, interior design, fashion and a good amount of reality tv! I am a full time SAHM I use to work in HR and studied Graphic Design at university (so a jack of all trades in my likes but a master of none) you could put me in any room and I’ll be comfortable and can talk to anyone about anything, yet I’m absolutely an introvert so that’s like my problem πŸ˜…

So here’s to trying to put myself out there!

(Oh and clearly no grammar or true punctuation was used in the making of this… so happy readingπŸ€ͺ)

Rant

I’ve seen SO many posts recently about peoples sons liking β€œfeminine toys/characters” and talking about it in with a negative spin.

It’s the thought process that it might β€œturn them gay”. It’s disgusting. If your child is gay - so WHAT?! Is that really the worst thing your child could be?
No one has a child expecting them to be gay but really I don’t see an issue if they were.

It just shows your homophobic side and it riles me up the wrong way.

trying to leave him..

Well I’ve come to the end of my relationship. He booked a hotel β€œfor himself β€œ all things point to he was with his baby mom. I was home with their kid and mine while they did who knows what. I’ve dealt with physical and mental abuse from him. It’s just so hard to fully leave him. He’s not the father of my daughter so we have no ties but he’s been there since I was pregnant. I’m restarting. I have nothing to my name. I have no money, no job, and I’m running low on my babies supplies. I just need advice how to walk away fully. I know it’s for the best but I still love him which makes me feel so stupid. Also if any mommas have tips for finding yourself again and glowing up I’d appreciate it.
