Is it weird or wrong of me to feel any way if my husband told me his ex from high school who now lives overseas and is pregnant.. that they have been texting on Facebook and she asked him if he does perineal massage??..
He then asked me what that was. I explained what it was and told him that's intimate stuff.. why would she wanna know that?
He seemed shock to find out what it was , and when I told him he said she sent him a weird emoji after asking that, which got him wondering why use that emoji...and now he knows why she sent that emoji.
I found it weird he didn't tell me what that emoji was, and I didn't ask.
I, for one, was gonna mention the massage to him later down to try.. I wasn't ready yet so the fact she brought it up to him asking if he did it before I could get a chance to discuss it with him does not sit well with me.
I was a bit appalled that she felt comfortable enough to ask him if he gave me perineal massages... Like... Excuse me? BOUNDARIES. That's between me and my husband.. I found that so off.
I don't know how long they have been texting.. he would mention them texting on rare occasions given that she's pregnant and I'm pregnant.. he would tell me she said she doesn't feel any pain.. she'd ask what gender we having and when I'm due and he'll tell me the gender she is having and when she is due. Other occasion he would mention that she messaged him and told him that she saw his uncle at church.
He brought up the whole thing voluntarily tho as always.. it came up cause I asked him for a massage and he was massaging me and we were talking about preparing for birth.
I don't know if he thinks it's a normal thing for her to ask.. my husband doesn't talk nor express much. Can never tell what's on his mind even when asked outrightly.. but I always had an issue about him putting boundaries with females..
He's more to ignore certain comments or think it's harmless instead of putting his foot down and letting them know it's inappropriate or he doesn't like that or that's between him and his wife.. you know?
