Haha girl welcome to mom core😂my kid acts like hes being possessed there is no fixed it i just wrestle my way through it or some times if in lucky he will accept a toy and play with it. Which means I get 3 seconds to change a poopy diaper😂

Counting each movement & wipe out loud helps my daughter, gives her a sense of time passing instead of feeling like she’s stuck there forever

Aww my darling so my 18 almost 19 months old hates getting his butt changed too, he even tells us when he's needing changed and he'll grab the pull up and everything but still throw a fit😂 we just give him something to occupy his hands. (He loves our stylus pen from our phone) Just keep reminding her it's a quick change, it'll be over soon, once the pull up is around their feet, offer to have them help u pull it up, they love to help. It's teaching them to do to themselves! I'm here for any questions!!

Try singing and playing that usually helps and explain what you are doing eventually she will calm down from it

Distant from husband

Hello everyone, i am after ftm to a 10month old baby boy. I am feeling very distant from my husband for a few months. Whenever i say i need us to spend time together , it just never happens. He always says he loves me irrespective. We are not physical anymore, there are no touches/hands holding etc. Is this how motherhood feels? Every night my body is needed by my baby so much and on the other hand I feel like my husband doesn’t.

Sorry for venting here! But just wanted to see anyone else is going through the same? What have you done to improve your relationship or go back to that loving relationship? it just feels i am only a mother now. Every relationship with my husband doesn’t exist. We both love each other but I don’t know how to bring the love/touch back.

Ps: during pregnancy we barely had sex as it was our first baby and we just didn’t knew if it was safe.

Staff ratio at nursery

What is the legal requirement of staff to children ratio for a nursery with children aged 2-5 all in the same room?

Recently I was told where I was thinking of sending my son the ratio is 10:1 (children to staff)

I visited a room with 2-3 year olds and the ratio was 5:1 (staff to children)

How is it legal to then just add on another 5 because others are older you still have to care for the 2 year olds. Does the older children suddenly mean they can have 6 2 year olds and 4 4 year olds with 1 key worker?

Advise would be great thanks

Baby's first birthday gift ideas?

This is my second baby, and we have no idea what to get him for his birthday next month.
We still have the big toys my first had, a trike, sandpit ect. We did have a slide and swing but our garden (we moved last year) isn't really suitable so they're at my parent's house instead.
I just don't know what to get him. I'm thinking maybe sensory bits? I need things that aren't going to take up too much space. Any suggestions? Anything your little ones have loved, or anything you wished you'd got them sooner?

Is anyone else in this same space?

So I have a 6 month old and in a long distance marriage. My husband was only able to stay for a month after the baby was born before leaving for work. I have been raising my son alone and this has caused a lot of strain between me and my husband. He just doesn’t seem to understand how much effort it’s taking me to raise our baby. I’m so irritated I feel like divorcing him.

question!?

Mopping wears me out, but I can’t stand dirty floors either. Thinking of getting a robot mop — any recommendations? What should I look for? Or is there a better option?

Holiday packing for baby (6 months)

Hi Mamas,
Please could you advise what I need to pack for 10 days holiday in Majorca. We go next month and baby will be 6 months. (EBF)
I understand the obvious clothes, swimmers, nappies. But please could you tell me what is essential or any tips?
Thank you ❤️
