My son is somewhat the same, he can walk holding onto your hand or furniture but walking in his own? nope he flops to the flooršŸ˜‚we’ve been trying walkers, the toy (trick) two in one hand and walking, just practise practise xx

Pick up more toddler classes. At least one a day, then they'll soon copy the other kids šŸ‘

If it’s any consolation, my brother didn’t walk until 18 months šŸ˜… he was the first baby of all of us so I think being around other children watching them walk etc might give him more confidence to try? Even in public places like parks or playgrounds etc? šŸ™šŸ¼

Is this true?

There was a post I read which I can’t get out of my mind. I have a son and a daughter (both under 2). It basically said how daughters become a reflection of us, they are a mirror back at us showing us the good and bad and making us reflect. The same with sons and their fathers eventually.

My marriage has been a wreck since we had kids, constant bickering and disrespect. There are good parts. Would I want my daughter to be who I am now? Someone who accepts being spoken to like this? I used to be a very strong, loud, proud and extroverted person. I would love for her to be like be like the person I was 5 years ago. However, now I feel silenced in my home, allowing myself to be disrespected. I can’t say all of the changes are due to my husband, maybe motherhood too.

I can’t stop thinking, would I want my son to treat his future wife how I am being treated? No. Would I want my daughter accepting being spoken to this way? No.

He is a good dad in many other ways, he does provide, plays with them, helps with bedtime routine etc. but we are failing to model a good relationship. I dont think he likes me anymore, let alone love. I’ve brought up therapy many times but he will never agree.

Maybe it’s best to be apart? I don’t know what messes up kids less.

C-section Mama, loosing baby weight.

Hi Mamas.
So I’m 3 months postpartum after having an emergency c-section. I’m exclusively breastfeeding, therefore I’m not on any diet to make sure I keep my milk supply coming.
I JUST fully healed and I feel ready to start working out to get my body back but idk where to start or what to do.
Also, I had a big pregnancy belly, so now my belly is kinda folded into itself and I desperately want it gone šŸ˜….
But most importantly, I need to find a sweet spot between keeping my milk supply the same and losing weight/getting fit.
I need advice!

Finding night weaning really difficult/ mum guilt

I have started to wean my 12 month old of feeding to sleep. I am still offering milk in the night and before bed but not feeding to sleep. Baby wakes multiple times, often feeds for ages, falls asleep and wakes up again or does not transfer and I have to repeat the process again, sometimes multiple times for one wake up. I am 18 weeks pregnant and just can’t keep doing this due to exhaustion, becoming uncomfortable on my bump as baby only likes to feed whilst laying across me and I’m finding nipple sensitivity overwhelming.

I have tried offering cuddles instead but he just won’t go to sleep unless we battle through hours of sleep.

I am writing this crying as I feel extreme guilt hearing him crying for me to feed him.

I feel like a bad mum but I don’t know what else to do. I still want to bf him but I want to break this feed to sleep cycle.

Anyone been successful with this?
