I had a dream/nightmare about my miscarriage and it scared me and worried me. It felt so real too. I went through one in December and now I had a nightmare/dream about one. Could this be my body telling me that Im pregnant. I looked it up and it says it's because of all the hormones changing. Has anyone ever had a dream/nightmare about that? I would like some opinions please. Thank you for advice in advance. Good luck and baby dust to you all.

I miscarried in August of last year at two months pregnant and I was pregnant just two cycles after that. I’ve had quite a few miscarriage nightmares during this pregnancy. It wasn’t my body telling me anything, it was my emotions taking over. I’m a Christian so I heavily believe that the devil plays a huge part in all the awful, vile things we conjure up in our sleep, ESPECIALLY during pregnancy or in a vulnerable state like after a miscarriage.

I also went through a miscarriage, and now I’m pregnant again. I had a nightmare about it that felt so real, but when I woke up, I felt such a sense of relief knowing it was just a dream. I think sometimes our minds are just trying to process things and protect us from the pain. Talking about it has really helped me, I see a therapist, and it’s been comforting to anchor myself in the present and remind myself that right now, everything is okay, we’re safe, and baby is safe. I’ve also shared these feelings with my husband. I feel like sharing the worries makes them a bit lighter.

I had miscarriage nightmares with both my daughter and the baby I'm carrying currently. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage and I basically held my breath during the whole first trimester with both my pregnancies since the miscarriage. Pregnancy or even thinking about pregnancy just isn't the same after you've experienced loss so I've always assumed it's just your brain's response to the trauma you experienced and the fears you hold about it possibly happening again.
