White noise!

Hey mamas
When did you stop putting your baby to sleep without white noise?
My baby will be 11 months nest week and can't even take a nap without ehite noise.
Is so annoying, and sometimes we gave to listen to that in the middle of the night when he don't want to sleep.

When she turned 2

My son is 14 months and still sleeping with white noise all night. I find I actually sleep better with it on now 🤣

My LO is 8 months. We have just switched out naps from white noise to an open window in the room she's sleeping in. But nights are still with white noise and we have no intention to stop that any time soon. Until having her, I've always had to sleep with an earphone in playing any sort of music, or YouTube video etc. So, I definitely get the need to have sound

My daughter is 2.7 and we still use it. Shes always been a great sleeper so we are not inclined to change anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

11 months and still use it.. I use one myself and love it. My partner snores and it’s the only way I can dirft off

My 5 and 7 year old still love their white noise lol

We moved from white noise to lullabies (instrumental) using a yoto box around 12 months

I still put on the white noise for my 3 year old. Tho, he'll also fall asleep without it if needed.

Do you think sometimes parents expect too much out of a toddler?

A lot of times I see posts and sometimes they come off as they want their toddlers to have Boarding School behaviour or 5* eating habits and robot emotions. The moment they don't, then you see people comment to "whoop them" or therapy or label them as monsters etc. It's frustrating as adults when we are learning something new, so imagine what it's like for toddlers learning EVERYTHING new from their emotions to the world to walking, talking, eating, being independent. In my opinion sometimes there are too many expectations put on toddlers, I mean I trained pretty untrainable adults but I never said I hated them, obviously never wanted to smack them or tell them they needed therapy.

Naps !

First time I've ever posted anything on here so absolutely no clue how it works haha !
My eldest is 2 and she stopped her naps around 6 months ago and has been absolutely great with it but recently around 3-4pm she's acting really tired and getting really aggy and wingey ! Anyone have any experience with this or any advice on what to do ? 🤣

Between her and her little sister we are quite literally fighting for our lives at bedtime😅

Question for mums of 2x

Ive got a 2yr old and a newborn (1x week old)

Interested to hear from other mums if you had kids with a similar age gap, what did you find the hardest or most challenging?

Just trying to mentally prepare myself for what could come.

Right now my fears are keeping up routines on my own when hubby goes back to work as I ebf and no idea how im going to be able to do it 😬

Breastfeeding

I’d like to breastfeed but not exclusively as I want my partner to be able to help out with feeds and have the flexibility. There are so many brands and I don’t know where to start!

Is it best to start with a manual one? Should I go with a wearable one like Momcosy? Any recommendations appreciated 🙏
