What do you do when your child wants to play family or dolls with you but you don't like those games?

Just do a lot of things I don't want to because it's best for my child but this doesn't seem necessary and I honestly hate every second of it

Compromise. Tell her you'll play for X amount of time

I’ve noticed I can sit there and she would make everything herself as long as I moved the dolls and such lol they usually just want your presence more than anything

Do it for a short period if you can

If you are absolutely not in the mood, play something else. Loads of ways to connect with your kid. Connection is best when you are BOTH having fun. Tbh it's not high quality connection time if you're not enjoying it, so, may as well redirect to something you do like doing

I honestly would just play what she wants to play. Play time is for her and not me. I would still set a limit for how long though.

Mum guilt (help)

I just want to open up that I’ve been feeling a bit pressured when it comes to playing with my baby. It can tire me out, and I sometimes feel guilty when I put him in his bouncer or on his playmat. I feel like I always have to be playing with him or doing tummy time, and I end up stressing about how to entertain him or what’s best for his development

I was an athlete as a kid but as I got older my joints got inflamed and fibromyalgia kicked in and I can't even run 5mins without blowing up like a blowfish

BIG BABIES

So my 3mo son is 15weeks, born on 16th jan and was 7ibs2 and my lord is he a chunk now, in-between 6-9 9-12 month clothing, weighs over 15 pounds and is combi fed as the boobs not enough! He does 8 ounces every feed and breast first thing in morning and hardly in day depending for comfort - anyone else have big babies? Hes very long and very chunky he has no neck😂ive had him checked by doctors etc and they just said hes a greedy little man but i worry about EVERYTHING - heres a photo of rn after his grouchy hand eating due to teething!

Grandparents babysitting

When you have your parents or your child's other grandparents babysit them, do you share the routine and schedule or do you just allow them to do whatever or do you do like a half and half?

Do anyone else feel like your an aggressive parent? And you have to be because the other parent is more soft than you? I don’t know I currently have a 4 year old , a 9 year old , 9 month old and currently pregnant with another boy! And my boys are ROUGH I love my babies but their “ BOYS “ constantly fighting constantly crying constantly breaking things constantly talking back and the list goes on I feel like I can’t be the soft loving parent at times or instead of yelling I can’t sit and just have a talk becasue it doesn’t work AT ALL my house is never quiet and dad is the complete opposite of me he HARDLY gets onto them for their wrong doings and his baby them which is fine at times but there are times where discipline is needed etc etc and I have to be that parent and it sucks.
