I take an iron supplement (Needed is pretty good, as is Mega Foods Iron Builder, Floradix, and Hemaplex), Micro Ingredients K2 & D3 mini gelcap, I eat as well as I can (lots of fruit and veggies, bone broth, water, electrolytes, fermented foods, etc), take a probiotic (Jarrow Femdophilus is great and designed for the female reproductive tract, there's also another that I can't recall the name of right now). Honestly, if you WANT to take a prenatal, it's fine—choose one that is food based rather than synthetic, and just realize if it contains both iron and calcium that you aren't optimally absorbing either because they counteract one another. Take iron with vitamin C for optimal absorption and calcium with vitamin D and/or magnesium for maximum absorption, but space out when you take each by about 30-60 minutes. I like to do my iron in the morning and afternoon, and calcium with magnesium at night
