Why do the injections hurt SO badly?!

Am I doing it wrong? I pinch and I put in and take out and it is a KILLER. For ages afterward as well. Is it just me?

Nope. I was the same. I had to have them during my last 2 pregnancies as well. Then 6 weeks after. I felt like a pin cushion

I had a little icepack to numb the area and it definitely helped!

Not the only one, I hated them 😅 my partner injected them for me because I just don't think I could do it myself. The first midwife to inject them into me as well told me they don't really hurt because of the nerves being further due to pregnancy - absolutely lies 😂 I found it helpful to count down until the last one. Also if the liquid was injected really quickly I found it hurt more and was better if it was done a bit slower

My husband pinched the area and held it pinched the entire time even as you remove it and that helped me a lot! Barely felt it doing it that way😊
