If they are used mostly for teething, maybe you could try replace with a silicone teething brush? My daughter likes toothbrushes for teething. We started with a silicone training brush. I always find if you can swap things for something else then it helps them adapt. A lot of people I know have just gone cold turkey and just taken them away. Its all trial and error. I would just see what works for you ❤️ x

Why daddy why !!!!

I have a 3-month-old baby, and I’m managing everything on my own—cleaning, cooking, laundry, and breastfeeding day and night. I barely even get time to comb my hair.

I can handle the work, but what hurts is what I’m not getting in return—no love, no hugs, no affection, no appreciation, no understanding.

He talks to the baby, but not to me. I’ve started staying quiet because whenever I try to say something, it turns into shouting, and I don’t want that environment for my baby.

Sometimes it feels like I’m completely invisible. People often say women become “too strong” or “too masculine,” but no one sees what pushes them to that point.

You're SOO lucky!

Is anyone else sick of being told their husband/partner is amazing and aren't you so lucky he does so much to help you with the baby. Yes he helps raise his child. Does he do anywhere near as much as me, no way. I breastfed for 7 months, I took a year off my job and so have lost money, affected my pension, literally get up every night for a year with this baby. Does he get asked the same thing about me. I don't think so. If anything it's like a negative on me as a mum that I'm getting SO much help. I might lose it at the next person to say this to me.

Are we letting children watch the old Disney movies?

Movies like Pocahontas, Jungle Book, Peter Pan and Pinocchio. I know there is a lot in movies like these that is controversial but I grew up on these and wondering if I should just let my 3 year old watch the old Disney movies. My favorite was Fox and Hound but watching it as an adult gives me a take I didnt realize as a kid.

Veggie sauce pasta, butternut squash soup, salmon for dinner for my almost 4yo.

The salmon portion was large and she only ate 1/2 of it and I ended up eating the other half. I love salmon skin 😋

Inspired by another post: If/would you make your child pay rent/bills? If so what age would you start?

Obviously I don't mean they would be paying like half the money of household bills, but like $10 for rent and maybe $5 for WiFi or groceries. Something to teach them about bills and responsibility.
