Csection scar not healing

It’s really getting me down feel like I won’t be the same again and it’ll be reoccurring 😭

Has anyone else had problems with tiny holes in their csection scar not healing? I’ve been on antibiotics for infection which has gone but there are three tiny holes near the centre that heal over and then pop open again as soon as I do a little more e.g going to baby class or getting pram in and out of the car / lifting baba in his car seat as he’s getting heavy now.

I didn’t have these holes at the start they first opened up after my 6 week check when I started doing more etc

I had this issue! They finally healed after my dr gave me some nystatin powder to apply twice a day. That way it was able to stay nice and dry and heal. My issue was that it wasn't healing because of my belly overhang and it not being able to stay dry.

Hey, I completely understand. I was the same felt like it was never ending antibiotics, I also had tiny holes within the wound which have only just closed up. I couldn't drive until 8 nearly 9 weeks pp. It will close but it is the case of taking it easy. Resting as much as you can in-between trips out, maybe have rest days. I would speak to your GP just to make sure all is ok if they keep re opening xx

Speak with your GP my C section popped and honestly they put some cream on and a plaster and it heal up fine.

NHS hospitals

I have my elective C section booked in for Friday 29th. I am worried I’ll be made to stay in until the Monday due to the weekend even if all goes well. Has anyone been discharged on a Sunday?

I just want a beautiful bump

I'm just so jealous of everyone and their beautiful bumps.
This is baby number 4 and I just look fat and horrible!!! I've never had a "bump" just got bigger..... if you didn't know I was 5 months pregnant you wouldn't guess. I'm so fed up of feeling this way

Sweep

Had a membrane sweep this morning, cervix is soft and midwife said I’m about 1cm dilated and could feel babies head. Is there anything I can now do after the sweep to try get things moving?

Cramping

Hi! Im 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and keep feeling some low dull cramps, almost like pre period cramps? I still have really bad nausea and stuff but panicking the cramps are a bad sign. Had a scan at 7+6 and baby was measuring perfect with a heartbeat too, but still worried :( any one and the same boat? Xx

C-section date booked

Just received a call from hospital confirming my elective C section date. I don’t know how to express my feelings. In exactly 4 weeks I’m going to see my little angel 🥹
knowing the date makes my heart rate crazy though😅

Midwife appointments

I’m currently pregnant and have a 3 and a half year old. Has anyone had to take their child to a midwife appointment because they had no one to look after them? I know they can’t come to the scans
