Gift for older sibling from baby

Anyone already with a child, have you bought your first born a gift from the baby? If so, what? My eldest will be 2 years and 10 month old when baby arrives.

Yes, my daughter is 4yo. I've just had twins so we got her 2 gifts. She really wanted paw patrol tower just because her friends got one and then arts and crafts bits. Also got her big sister tshirt.

Yeah my little boy bought baby a cute fox teddy and the baby bought my little boy a Paw Patrol toy as they are his favourite toys at the moment ❤️❤️ xx

My friend gave me some good advice to buy some bits for when I’m feeding so that my son doesn’t feel left out and we can do them together at the same time. I’ve therefore wrapped a couple of new books, a playdough toy and a writing activity book that we can do on the sofa/ at the table when I’m feeding and alone with both 😊

Hey bestie!

Looking for a mom bestie who actually texts back and doesn’t make it weird 😭 just easy convo, no awkward pauses, no overthinking replies like we can talk about life, kids, chaos, and random nonsense without it feeling like a job interview. Bonus if we can be funny and consistent 🫶 I want a real friend, not an off and on situation LOLL 😭

Flying when 24 weeks pregnant

Hi all, looking for some tips and advice. I need to fly for work to Germany so short haul with Lufthansa.

Am wondering if anyone else flew around this time and whether you were ok without a fit to fly note? I won't need one as I'll be before 28 weeks but wondering if anyone had difficulty proving this with the airline?

Don't want to pay for a private NHS fit to fly letters (my GP doesn't do them!) when I don't need one but also worried they won't believe me that I'm only 24 weeks (I'm quite big as it's my second!).

Did you notify the airline in advance? Wondering if I need to for any help with my bag or is this done at check in, or not done at all!

Any advice appreciated! Many thanks.

Best gifts for 3+

If you have a child who has already had their third birthday - what was the best gift they got? And I'm talking about stuff that kept their interest (even if on and off) for over 6 months.

TYIA ❤️

Sahm

I’m feeling as though no one will employ me when my lo goes to school. Can’t even think straight no idea how I’ll get through interviews. Worried I’ve deskilled myself completely.

Constantly attached

Anyone else finding it absolutely exhausting just being constantly attached to your baby? Literally cleaning one handed or having an audience to watch you shit, eat and shower? Feel like I don’t get more than 5 minutes away from him at the moment
