Nausea medication

Hello, struggling with nausea and seems more intense than my first pregnancy, I am currently off work resting and due to go abroad late May, I am considering exploring medication via GP for nausea but naturally feel a bit apprehensive, is it safe for baby, etc? I would welcome experiences or comments below on this, thank you!

I'm struggling with this too, spoke to my GP who prescribed cyclizine, but I haven't used it yet. She said it's the first line medication given and used a lot for pregnant women and safe to use. I think I'm just going to use it when I'm desperate, for work etc. But I've heard ginger is supposed to be really good, you can buy ginger tablets so I'm going to try those more for every day.

I am on Prochlorperazine. Safe for early pregnancy.
I this is my 2nd day using it after being sick for 16 days straight 🙃

I was on cyclizine from around 6-9weeks at which point i started being sick so was swapped to Prochlorperazine which worked perfectly and i stayed on that until around 15weeks slowly reducing my dose. I’m so glad i asked for the meds and I’m now 38weeks pregnant with a healthy baby, they won’t prescribe something if theres evidence that its dangerous for the baby x

She's here! - 8th May

she arrived via emergency c-section after what can only be described as a very traumatic induction at 40 weeks due to GDM and Polyhydramnios but on the 8th May at 40+1, not sure what time as I was out of it but weighing 8lb 1oz not the 9lb 7oz the consultants had been predicting, taken to breast feeding like a champ and is just the picture of perfectness and I am just so in love 🥰🥰🥰

Probably been asked many times before!

FTM and opting for an elective C-Section. 34 weeks at the moment and feeling woefully uninformed about the whole process. We have a consultant appointment next week but does anyone have any pre and post op advice or tips I should know?

Sort of wanting to just opt for an elective c section

Throughout my pregnancy and even before, I wanted to avoid a c section where possible. Im 40+2 today and after a really horrible interaction with a consultant pushing and railroading me in to an induction, im just kind of filled with doubt and fear. Something I haven't felt until now.

I wanted to really try for a spontaneous natural delivery, but am totally open to pain relief, and interventions where necessary for baby's or my health and safety. But getting to this point now, with an induction date booked for 40+8 next week, im wondering if its just worth booking a c section and being done with it. I had my first sweep done yesterday and I was 2cm dilated but my midwife said my cervix was still closed. I have another booked for Tuesday.

I dont really know why im posting, solidarity, positive induction or c section stories or just some encouraging thoughts might be helpful from those on the other side or in the thick of things too.

Early scan

This was my scan picture a few weeks ago they told me I looked 5 weeks but I was able to see the heartbeat and I wanted to get opinions on what other people think because my dates don’t match up to my last period

Period pains?

I’m 20+1 and I keep getting random bouts of period pain

I don’t know whether baby is just laying on my cervix or not but I’m terrified if they are, it’s going to stimulate early labour 😂🫣
Has anyone else experienced this?
