Help?

My boyfriend is threatening to end our relationship if our baby isn’t registered with his surname and won’t want on the birth certificate.

Back story, I have two children with their dad’s surname already and also this relationship has been rocky and he always leaves after dramatising things so I feel I have no security.

My question is, should I give them my surname or a double barrelled surname? Or give in and give the baby his surname only?

My ex did the same thing. I deeply regret caving. Baby has both of our names with a hyphen. I actually asked him if I could remove his because he’s very absent & of course he refused. Your boyfriend is manipulating you and coercing you into agreeing.

Double barrelled or your surname, I would personally suggest.

So hes going to risk not having any parental rights cause you wont give your child his surname?

90th centile to 5th centile

I had the fundal height checked at 26 weeks and baby was measuring on the 90th centile, had an appt yesterday and he was measured at the 5th centile, so no growth at all in the last three weeks. i’ve been referred for a growth scan but have an upcoming scan in a few weeks anyway, has this happened to anyone else? My last baby was over 8lbs, and i feel like im getting bigger, movements are getting stronger etc, im just panicking as they said they placenta may not be working properly!!!

What do you think of the name Corey/Cory?

We fell in love with the name Corey to go with big brother Brodie, but have just found out that Corey is slang for penis 🙈. I don’t want to set him up to be bullied and kind of feel like kids will find a reason to nickname someone if they want to anyway? Would you name your child Corey?

Pain

Has anyone experienced their pain just ramp up? I’m 34 weeks, second time mum - everything is not the same as the first. Getting pain where I had my contractions with my first but like long pain rather than contractions. Everything hurts; breathing feels like it hurts, baby moving hurts, pains in back and hips.

Going outside after section

When is the right time to go for a walk after c section? I know everyone’s different but would be good to get other peoples opinions! I’m 5 days post cs today and would like to go for a small walk but I’m scared that’s a silly idea.

Bleeding scar

Hey I’m just over 6 weeks PP and noticed that there is a tiny little bit of bleeding suddenly from my scar. The rest looks great and is healing well but this little area a few days ago seemed more raised and red and then today it’s got a bit of discharge and some bleeding. Anyone else had this and know what it could mean?? I’ve got my 6 week check up in two days so hoping to wait until then to get it checked, but any advice or support would be great!

Can time slow down a little bit...

Anyone else feel like time is just speeding by? This is my second (and last) baby and I just feel like he's getting so big so quick. 😭 This was him at 2 days old Vs now at 26 days old 😭
