Everyone gets a version of PMS, I’ve always had mood swings and could loose my temper quite quickly.
I had my second who is now 6 months and I’m 40, since having her I feel like my temper and patience is really extreme, not necessarily with her but with just life in general
My MIL is pissing me off alittle, the other day I visualised what I could say to her and how I could physically harm her (not that I ever would) which scared me a lot!
Has anyone else experienced this??

Postpartum rage is a very very real thing that isn't talked about as much as PPD or PPA. Paired with sleep deprivation, stress and other hormones it can be pretty jarring. It's also something that's really common for mums to experience. I found mine was particularly intense around 6 months when we started foods and her milk intake changed (throwing my hormones for a loop too). From around 3 months to just over 12 months this was really present for me. If you can talk to someone, do - found talking it out helped me avoid some of the follow-on feelings of shame etc.. Just normalising it helped loads though too - nothing "wrong" with me, just a difficult phase. I also spoke about it with my husband so we both had the context of what was going on.
