Turning over in the cot

My 7-month-old has just started to turn over, last week I woke up to my baby turned upside down which frightened me and I quickly picked him up. I thought this was a one-off but tonight when I've put him in bed he started turning over as he's now very confident at rolling. I get worried about him turning over when I'm asleep, can anybody offer me any reassurance or any tips to keep him safe if he keeps turning in bed?.

Mine started doing this at around 5/6 months. Honestly I was so scared when he first started doing it, but as long as they can roll front to back then they are safe. Obviously follow safe sleep guidelines by not having bumpers in the cot but I think a lot of babies go through this and just find a sleeping position that's most comfortable for them. My little boy definitely prefers sleeping on his front and will put himself in whatever position he wants. There's only been one occasion I've intervened, and that was just to angle his head up a little more when he was poorly to help with his congested breathing.

AITA

Should I be mad that my husband sleeps all day long…? He works 4pm-12am but doesn’t go to bed till around 2:30am… then he sleeps until 2-3pm… he misses almost all of the day with his 2 year old child and I’m currently pregnant with baby #2… idk if it’s pregnancy hormones but it just makes me so irritated and depressed because he literally misses out on everything…

When do you stop using a baby monitor?

So I’ve been using a camera baby monitor since birth and still use it now (she’s now 3)
So my question is are you all still using your monitors or when did you stop?

I love the fact that I can keep checking on her when she’s sleeping or if she stirs in the night I can see her and know if I need to go in her room or not, she’s a light sleeper too so if she stirs in the night and I got in her room she would be wide awake again 🫣 but she also settles herself amazingly well too if not disturbed.

Colostrum harvesting

Going to try and collect my colostrum for the first time tonight.
My nipples have leaked colostrum for a fair while now however only just hit 37 weeks.
Please can I have people’s tips and tricks to have a successful harvest.

(Am aware I might not get much the first few times just want it to be a comfortable experience)

Thank you xx

Not crawling or rolling back to tummy

Baby is 32 weeks tomorrow - is that 7.5 months?!

But still not crawling or wanting to roll back to tummy - why do I feel stressed that she isn’t doing this yet!
I encourage rolling every day but because she sat from around 5 months she has no interest in rolling.
Seeing other people’s posts on how much their baby is doing is making me feel a little stressed! ..
anyone feeling the same??

Finally weaned (hormon balancing?

Finally weaned my 1 year old. And it too a village. But now I've got a flood of emotions, I want to cry constantly. I don't but I want to. Has anyone experienced this and how did you cope? What's the new balance when your not your child's source of food anymore. With my son I got sick so I couldnt keep breasting feeding him so it was a bit different.
