Finally weaned (hormon balancing?

Finally weaned my 1 year old. And it too a village. But now I've got a flood of emotions, I want to cry constantly. I don't but I want to. Has anyone experienced this and how did you cope? What's the new balance when your not your child's source of food anymore. With my son I got sick so I couldnt keep breasting feeding him so it was a bit different.

I didn’t personally experience this but I’ve been told some women feel crazy after weaning.

Early rising and frequent wakes

My baby never been a good sleeper and I’m okay with that. 10 months old and he goes in his bed to start and will always end up with us.

However, the last 4 or 5 nights, he is waking after an hour, every hour and getting into our bed earlier because he then won’t settle. THEN he’s up at 5.30.

We used to put him to get at 7 and get till at least 11/12 before the first wake. Sometimes we could get him back off in his own cot, sometimes he’d come in with us but never before 11. The early wakes started and I was advised to push bedtime back to 7.30, it worked for a bit but then back to 5.30.

Now, down at 7.30, up at 9 then 10 and definitely in our bed at this point as won’t resettle. 1 or 2 more wake ups than normal and then up at 5.30 ????

He has 2 naps a day totalling 2.5hours. Wake window is 3, then 3.5 then 4hr

Hoping a phase or teething or learning a new skill but this seems to be lasting forever!!!!

Was I wrong?

I yelled at my SD today because she was in my babies face. My baby turns 1 in a few weeks and has been sick every other month because of my SD. Since I met my SD (about 4 yrs now) she’s been sick with a cough for about 85% of the time. At 4 months, she gave my baby Covid and my baby has been sick every other month because she’s constantly sick since her mother allows her to go outside without properly covering up, or without giving her any medicine.

I have told my partner plenty of times to be the person to push boundaries when she is sick since she’ll just be all over my baby. Today I had enough because my baby is sick once again due to my SD coughing and not covering her face and constantly being in my babies face.

So I yelled at her, “get out of her face, you’re sick and you got her sick too!” I rarely ever raise my voice at her and she just stopped stunned. My partner just said “she’s right she keeps telling you” and that was it. Two seconds later, she’s back all over the baby and he’s back to not saying nothing. So I grabbed my baby and locked us in the room. He just sat there like where you going we’re hanging out? But like come on?! He doesn’t even hear her wake up and cry out of discomfort in the middle of the night. So am I wrong for being upset that now my Mother’s Day consists of me taking care of a sick baby because of his negligent parenting and her lack of boundaries no matter how many times I repeat myself?!?!

Changing newborn a second time post feed?

(Formula fed baby) - Our newborn is usually changed and then fed in the middle of the night but recently as they’re drinking more, they tend to then need changing a second time post feed as we can hear them 💩 half way through. We’ve found changing them the second time then stops them going down after the feed. Is there anything we can do to help them go down after? What do others doing in this case? Would you feed more?

Bras!

Hey all, I’m in my first trimester (almost 10
Weeks) with my first pregnancy and my boobs have been so painful and every day they feel heavier. I am still currently wearing my usual bra and bra size but at what point do you change bra sizes? And how do you know how big they need to be? Do you have to get new bras every few months?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you 🥰

Waking at 5am every day

Anyone else’s 8 month old waking up at 5am every single day? No matter what time he goes to sleep he wakes up at 5am. He usually goes to sleep at 7pm ish after been awake for 2.5-3 hours and then he usually sleeps through until 5.
Last night he went to sleep at 7 after been awake 3 hours, woke up at 10:30pm and then 3:40am and then 5 so even though he was awake in the night he still woke at 5😩
I don’t know how to get him to sleep longer than 5am!

9 week old

My LO had very pee in night yesterday. Otherwise it’s like 2-3 wet diapers at night. But yesterday it was one diaper with very small blue line.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Does their wee reduce at night?
