You’ll need to take your own. Car seats provided in taxis are almost always forward facing, very old and thrown around between cars. You’ve no idea of their safety/ crash history either.
While it may be legal to have the children on your lap the consequences in an accident would be devastating it’s not worth the risk x

We take ours, but hire a car so it’s easier

Cosatto do a travel car seat which folds which apparently is quite small. You could get a car seat bag and put 2 of them in those? There are companies in the UK where you can hire equipment to take on holiday so could hire them and fly them out.

I have this question for a 3 month old. A friend has recommended hiring one because ours is likely to get battered about in luggage. The foldable ones I have seen only start at 15 months.
