I want to create a gift basket for the labor and delivery nurses because I know how helpful they will be. Has anyone else made one? What should I put in the basket? And how many nurses do you think will help me? Just so I know how many duplicates.

I really depends on how busy your hospital is. At my hospital nurses usually have a few patients they are attending to and if one starts pushing another nurse take over the patients that are in earlier stages. Also how long you are in and when the shift change happens.
I had at least 10 nurses during labor. I came in a few hours before shift change and then there were a lot of deliveries that happened while I was there so my nurse kept getting switched - I think I saw everyone on shift. lol.
In recovery I had 4 or 5. A new one every 12ish hours for 2 days.
I think a more general gift that can be shared might be a better option.

I had 8 different nurses during my two days at the hospital and idek how many in the room when I gave birth it’s 1000% a very nice thought but it’s not really doable cuz you don’t know how many you’ll need

I am going to make 10 bags all the same same, an energy drink like Alana or Celsius’s, some mints from the dollar store and I found a bulk of colorful badges I found on Amazon. It’s shouldn’t be more than $45/50 because I have bags already.
I would say do small and at least 10 to make it stretch and just give it to who helps you the most not necessarily every single nurse. Just who you feel led to give too so you aren’t stressed!
