Toddlers

Do you get overwhelmed taking your toddler out by yourself. For example to the zoo, farm, park etc

Tired of the sexist bullshit

I live with my sons paternal grandfather. He doesnt want me to work and he doesnt want to drive me to work and he thinks my sons dad would be "babysitting" if he watches our son. Even if I get my license or get an uber im sure he will still try to come up with some other reason to tell me to stop working. I can't take it anymore. He also does a lot of other things that bother me.

He films me obsessively without consent (he did the same thing to my husbands exs), he does it at home and in public and even at my sons doctor appointments.

He spanked my child, he thinks women shouldn't work, he is offended if i buy something with my own money without him knowing, he rubbed my hair with a towel. He makes innapropriate comments to me such as "honey im home", "Where are we going now hun?", "i am a piss poor driver" "your husband is pussy whipped" "are you gonna have another one?" (Asking me if i will have another baby with a creepy look on his face. The way he said it and the way he looked at me when he said it didn't sit right with me.) He also got mad when I told him to stop filming me. He also tries to look at my phone screen a lot. Ive had times where he would try to look at my screen and ask me "what are you reading?" And ive had times where he would ask me who I am calling if he hears me on a phone call. He also gives me a mean look whenever I use my phone. Its almost like he thinks I am not allowed to use my phone at all even though he is the one filming me all the time. My entire nervous system feels nervous everytime he is around me. He pretends to care about me when he actually just wants to control me. I think he is a creep and I also think he is sexist.

Need some advice

Every morning, he calls our son to tell him to have a good day in school. Our son is currently just turned 5, in Pre-K and is going to speech and OT every day afterschool. For the last month his tablet doesn’t work so I got him a new which is still in its box and haven’t set it up. So he been using my phone to watch his shows or do some learning activities on it. I havent seen a change in his behavior. I dont see a problem with him having a break from school and he watching some of his shows. How would I go about this whenever I try to reason with him he takes it out of portions and an argument is started. Thank you

I don't know what to do! Advice needed

My son (just turned 4) has bad social anxiety around other children. Particularly ones his age. We pulled him out of a nursery as he was incredibly unhappy and distressed there. He goes to preschool and he is happier there. That social anxiety still stands and just as he was becoming confident. A little girl started after Christmas, she has been pulling his hair, dragging him out of the quiet corner and even pulling him off his potty. He has his own toilet area as he doesn't like the preschool toilets. He used to use them until this girl started and we've had a massive stetback with everything. He once came home with scratches all across his stomach from one of her 'episodes' the teacher called it.

They have three teachers in the preschool setting so why is a little girl bullying my son? They will go to the same school in September.

My question is how can I help my son build on this social anxiety if he is a victim of this aggressive behaviour at preschool?

We take him to parks, play centres and such. He seems happy enough once he is settled there.

Is this early teething??

My son has started sucking and chewing on his fists - does this mean his gums are sore and he is soon to start teething or is this too early? It’s different to when he is hungry! Have you experienced this by three months?
