Sleep help!

My baby is 11 months old and he has never slept though the night!

He is up every 1-2 hours in the night and wakes up at least 4 times. We try to settle him in the cot and if that doesn’t work then we try to settle him in our arms but it’s get to a point he is getting really stressed so I give him some milk to settle him.

We’ve tried to just eliminate the milk and replace with the water but it makes him worse.

He has the same routine every night- he has a book, gets changed and then a bottle. He has 3 meals and 2 snacks through the day and 1 4oz bottle in the morning after breakfast.

I need any help or advice for getting him to sleep through the night! Thank you

This is normal as hard as it is

Very normal. It’s not recommended to force a wean from milk until 12+ months so you could absolutely give it to him, especially if it helps him settle. The bit you’ve not mentioned is daytime sleep - what are his naps like / when? X

Low milk supply

My baby is 7 weeks and have been breastfeeding this whole time.
I express milk into bottles so my partner can feed but also use breast at night time and pump as a top up.

Today my milk supply has been next to nothing and I am not sure why. Feeds are consistently every 3 hours.

Anyone faced this issue?

First time calling poison control

I feel so terrible. My two year-old got into a bottle of fix vapor rub took a big handful of it and shoved it in my five months old face and some of it got in her mouth. I googled it and it said to call poison control, so I did. I gave her. The percentage of the drug told her how much I thought she ingested and gave her my five month olds weight. And she said it’s not enough for me to go ahead and go to the ER and I should just monitor her and call back in four hours to let them know if she’s doing OK. I never had to call poison control with my son and I feel like such a bad mom. I feel like it has been way harder than the second time around.

Nonexistent sex life

Hey Mommas,
Our daughter is 18months co-sleeps. She started out in a crib, and moved her into a cot (still in our bedroom) at 6months, but when she was 10months old she was really sick, in and out of hospital, so we wanted to give her more comfort when she got home and put her in bed with us. After that we couldn't bear to not have her in bed with us, and she's been a fantastic sleeper ever since.

However, since she's been in our bed, our sex life has completely died because obviously she's in there with us, but we're also not at a stage where we can leave her in our bed by herself to have couple's time elsewhere in the house.

When does this change?

Sleep training - possibly using Ferber method?

So my baby is 8 months old and we are currently cosleeping at night and contact naps during the day because as soon as you put him down he wakes up. Hes
exclusively breastfed but I can tell a he wakes up a few times at night just because he wants to comfort suck and go back to sleep. He doesn’t take the dummy.

I’m very tired, he wakes up multiple times at night. So I’m considering the Ferber method to sleep train him. I do take the idea of letting him cry but I’m not sure what else would work, has anybody tried the pick up pick down method but in the Ferber framework?

Also if you did try Ferber how long did it take it for it to work for you and how long did you baby cry for?

Any ideas on either Ferber or any other sleep training method is appreciated! Thank you
