Rolling

FTM to a gorgeous 4 & half month old girly. How many babies are rolling back to front at this age? What are we doing to help build their strength for this? 🫶🏻

5months on 20th and he has only rolled once from front to back 😅

He hates being on his tummy but will spend like an hour on his playmat on his back! And loves sitting in his little inflatable chair!

Following for potential exercises/core strength ideas

I have a 6month old baby girl who has been rolling since about 5 months. She has mastered back to belly but struggles still belly to back.

We do a lot of tummy time, I use one of those feeding semi circle cushions and also longer cushion for her to sit on top of. She seemingly found that more comfy. I also do a bit of tracking skills which helped her roll as she was watching the items side to side (hoping that makes sense!)

Take it as a blessing in disguise as once they roll it does become a nightmare!!! Xx

Elective C Section

Hi ladies 👋🏻 I'm planning an Elective c section in August on my first. I'm wondering when does this usually get booked in? My parents live in Ireland and want to come over when baby is born to help. So it would be good to have an idea of when it will be!

First solo steps 😭🤍

11 months 8 days and she’s just taken her first wobbly solo steps this evening and I’m a wreck 🥹🥹 Everyday she’s doing something new and I love it so much but it also feels like the baby chapter is really coming to an end and she’s definitely, DEFINITELY, our last baby so it all just feels like a lot emotionally. What a privilege to do this journey and experience all these moments! 🥹🤍

Hardest stage so far

Hi everyone FTM here. I’m feeling very overwhelmed with my LG now being able to crawl. She wants to move and stand and walk but gets frustrated with herself. Seems like she’s cried all day every day for the past week. She’s refusing naps, not really hungry and doesn’t really want to “play”. I am really struggling and feeling like I don’t know what I’m doing all over again.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can find a new routine or get used to this? Maybe some daily activities you do with your babies to occupy them? I feel like I’m fighting for my life until bedtime and it’s making me really sad.
