How do you parent when you’re exhausted and have a cold

I’m tired from running around town all day and I have a small cold I just want a nap but it feels impossible with my 7 and 5 year old in the house cause they are still heavily dependent on me or their great grandmother

Is it okay to ask the great grandmother to watch them while you sleep or is that impossible?

My son is 6, he’ll let me nap, I just have a show ready for him or he has something set up to do and I have snacks ready for him as well as something for him to eat before I do usually like I’ll make him a sandwich otherwise he’s set

Hi! That was me yesterday, and I think we do it by the grace of God and because we are moms! Many times yesterday I had to just shake it out cause I wanted to scream!!! My boys are 7 and 4… I went to the doctor, then when I get back my 4 year old starts screaming that his ear hurts, so I rushed all three of us to urgent care and turns out an ear infection!! Then I had to come home and make dinner, while I had a fever and pain all over… but I think it’s the strength of motherhood that lets us push through

Pregnancy or period

My husband came in me a little bit by accident cuz the idiot thought he was wearing a condom so I went and got the morning after pill but I’m only seven weeks post partum haven’t had a period yet so don’t know if I’ve ovulated the pharmacist said I could still get pregnant and to test three weeks from Monday it’s Wednesday and I’ve got light pink bleeding when I wipe 😐what could it be I’ve woke up with slight cramps and feeling off ugh help I don’t want another baby and we usually wrap up feel like a right idiot

First solo steps 😭🤍

11 months 8 days and she’s just taken her first wobbly solo steps this evening and I’m a wreck 🥹🥹 Everyday she’s doing something new and I love it so much but it also feels like the baby chapter is really coming to an end and she’s definitely, DEFINITELY, our last baby so it all just feels like a lot emotionally. What a privilege to do this journey and experience all these moments! 🥹🤍

Elective C Section

Hi ladies 👋🏻 I'm planning an Elective c section in August on my first. I'm wondering when does this usually get booked in? My parents live in Ireland and want to come over when baby is born to help. So it would be good to have an idea of when it will be!

Have to have a c section against wishes

Ive been told i have to have a c section due to high blood pressure , i was told it would be on the 21st may when i will be 36 weeks , ive already have the steriod injections but still havent been given an actual time for the c section , i was just wondering how soon before the c section should you get the details .

Natural birth or c section, which did you prefer?

Ladies who have had both a natural delivery and a c section, which did you prefer in the long run? I’ve had a c section and was told I could never deliver naturally, but after a scan last week they now have said that I potentially can deliver naturally if I choose to. I know the section left me crippled for months so I’d love to give natural a shot but it seems terrifying! Let me know your thoughts x

I’m angry at the nhs

Ladies, I’m pregnant. The hospital did wrong! They told me I had a miscarriage but what they took out was lineing tissue instead of my baby . I have been pregnant for months! I’m 15 weeks pregnant. I’m so angry at the hospital and I want to cry!!!!!!
