To the mam's who haven't sleep trained at all, do your LOs go down for a nap without help to fall asleep? Mine is currently 8 months old and will not go down for a nap unless she's basically rocked to sleep with a bottle.
Do they eventually learn to do it themselves or do I have to sleep train her?
I don't really like any of the methods but I'm worrying about how hard work she is to get down for a nap when she's starting nursery/daycare soon😭

They do eventually learn , my first was just over 1 when she did it herself and my second will be rocked and put down at night we contact nap during the day but shes been at nursery a few weeks now and she goes down fine for them (shes 7 months old)

I didn’t sleep train as such but I moved her feeds so that they weren’t around the same time as her naps and just rocked her to sleep. Took some persistence but she got there in the end. I was also able to put her down when was ready for a nap and she would self settle in about 10minutes but now we’ve gone back to rocking as we’ve hit separation anxiety, teething and the 8 month sleep regression.
Be easy on yourself. She’s going through so much rapid development at this age, it’s so normal for her to need a bit of help ♥️
