Best affordable breast pump

please would anyone be able to recommend the best breast pump to use but budget friendly and easy to use , i’m thinking of buying from vinted as we are not financially buoyant for now and im seeing more of medala and nuiella. I notice medala has too many bottles and wires which honestly i’m not able to handle all of that. i just need something simple and easy that does the job.

I use the medala manual pump, was cheap and works well but obviously requires effort

Ive got the wearable nuliie ones from amazon. I bought the MomCozy M9's when i first had my baby off vinted. Suction was great but they leaked ALL THE TIME. Then the motor died on one of them and the other isnt far behind. Then I bought the M5's again off vinted and ive had them for about 2 months and the motor just died. They were really good but bulky. We bought the nuliie ones off amazon for £60, ive only had them a few days but quality wise they're not far off the MomCozy's and a hell of a lot cheaper and tbh slimmer so more descreet. You can go into a huge rabbit hole with pumps but the reality is everyone gets on with different products. The medala hand pump is great, cheap and easy to replace but it is bloody hard work if you're pumping a lot. I exclusively pump so everything i use gets used 6 - 10 times a day.

Pulled over

Beating myself up because I got pulled over today with my baby in the car. Thinking I’m a terrible mother. Wasn’t speeding. Made “an illegal pass” 4 cars infront of me did the same thing… but I was the last car… so I got pulled over. Cop let me go with a warning because they know people do it all the time… but stressed how dangerous it was and how I could get into an accident. Cop is completely right and I’m thankful they let me off with a warning but can’t help but think I’m an awful mother who put her baby at risk.

Age for sleep training

At what age did you sleep train? Specifically Ferber method. Is 9 months (still has quite a lot of milk during night) too young??

Early risers

My 8 month old keeps waking up at 5.20am thinking this is a good time to start the day 😴 she goes to bed at 6.45pm and we did have about a week of her sleeping through until that time but recently she’s waking up at 1.30, 3.30 and then wide awake at 5.20. I ebf but I don’t feed her through the night, able to put the dummy in and rub her back. I can’t let her cry too much at 5.20 as she’s next door to my toddler and I don’t want to wake him up 🙈She naps in the morning 9.30-11ish and then 2.45-3.30ish. Is it just a phase?! 😴😴

Walking???

Is anyone else’s 15mo old not walking yet?? We are being sent to early interventions and I’m absolutely anxious about it. He will walk holding onto us or chairs or anything and he’ll pull himself up while holding onto things but won’t standup freely either. He bear crawls and he’s soooo fast at it. Just need some reassurance that I’m not the only mom out there whose little one isn’t walking yet. He has hit all other milestones, just not walking yet.
