Hey mamas 🤍
I could really use some advice/ideas for feeding my 9 month old. I feel so lost when it comes to meals and meal prepping for him, and honestly I’m really scared of choking so I think it’s making me overthink everything. I keep feeling like I’m falling behind on what I “should” be feeding or cooking for him at this age.
What are some easy meals/snacks you feed your 9 month olds? Any simple meal prep ideas, safe foods, or tips that helped you feel more confident would be SO appreciated 🥺

I give my 9 month old oatmeal with smushed berries, chia seeds & almond milk every morning. For lunch she gets Toast with peanut butter, banana, sometimes a lentil Patty, mushed sweet potato. My nanny usually feeds her so not entirely sure, but that is what i see sometimes.

If i were you id go to the library & take out a few healthy baby food books! I also give her a lot of salmon

Oh & avocado on the toast

my baby girl is almost nine months old and she eats whatever we eat! ground beef, sweet potatoes, toast, chicken, as long as she isn’t going to choke on it! we have fruit/veggie pouches for when we eat and don’t have anything for her to much on. but their feedings should still mostly be milk, you are not falling behind!

I highly recommend introducing the top 9 allergens as soon as you can! Introducing and incorporating common allergens into baby’s diet before 12 months greatly reduces the risk of your baby developing an allergy to those foods. Don’t make it too complicated, give baby what you eat as long as there is no added sugar or salt, or honey. Make sure you are serving the food appropriately to reduce choking risks. I always search “how to serve ___ for 9 month old”, go to images, and it will show the best way to serve it

Since your baby is 9 months he should be fine with blw! That’s what I do. Anything I make for myself or the big kids I just make her some of the same thing but without seasoning. There’s an app called solid starts and it will tell you everything that is safe and how to prepare it for baby! My girl loves everything she tries and we’ve already introduced all allergens to her already!
