Does this annoy you?

It really irritates me when my friends will cancel plans or delay plans because the baby is having a nap! I’m a second time mum, but I didn’t even cancel plans or delay when my first hadn’t napped/was napping. Same with my son now, if I’m going out I’ll either plan naps around it or he will go in the car and can sleep there.

family members kissing baby

We’ve just had my partners auntie and uncle visit, we had no idea prior to the visit that his uncle is just getting over PNEUMONIA. He didn’t hold the baby, but he gave him a kiss on the head. They’re still downstairs now, i’ve washed his head with lukewarm water and decontamination lotion. He’s 9 days old. How much of a risk is there? I am beside myself crying, i wish they’d told us i wouldn’t have let them come over. We’re both in really good health and he’s breastfed.

Boundaries/rules for when baby comes

What is everyone going to be telling people not to do when baby comes? Like
1.) don’t kiss baby
2.) if baby cries give back

I’m completely lost on what I should do for my boundaries/ list of things not to do. like I know off the top of my head but I want to write them down so hubby knows them too. (He also has given me full control over it because he hasn’t been around a lot of babies less than a year old)

Breastfeeding & going back to work

Hi guys, I’m still breastfeeding my 9 month old but returning to work when he’s just turned one.

I’m really not wanting to pump at work if I can help it (work as a nurse and would struggle for time) and ideally wanting to start to wean off in the next month or so.

Just wondered what people’s experiences were? Any tips? When did people start to wean before going back to work?

Thank you! ☺️🤗

Diaper leaks overnight

My 7 month old (14-15lbs) wears size one diapers (pampers swaddlers) during the days, and we've had no issues with daytime leaks or blowouts at this size. We notice overnight she would have leaks from the from top of her diaper for several nights in a row (she sleeps on her stomach). We moved her up to a size 2 at night and that solved the problem for a few weeks, but then it started happening again, several nights in a row. We moved her up to a size 3 at night, and now she's leaking again. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Should we try a different brand that absorbs better overnight? Or that might fit her better around her waist? Any suggestions are appreciated!
